Players are divided on this visual novel, with the main point of contention being the protagonist's character and behavior. Critics argue that the female main character is insufferable, manipulative, and lacks meaningful development, making the romantic relationships feel uncompelling despite nice artwork and decent premise—many feel the game is too short and bare-bones to justify its price when better alternatives exist. Supporters appreciate the cute story, flawless visuals, and some character development, though even fans acknowledge it's quite short and has minor typos.
This game taught me that if you are a really horrible beep, but "look good" (highly debatable) and treat everyone like sheet... Then you'll get to win the hearts of sexy men. Don't forget to freaking argue on every single word they say and also remember: everyone is your pawn. Everyone is beneath you... And if something isn't working out? It's that person/things fault. Never yours. Oh no, no... Not at all. You are so perfect and brilliant... The book isn't poorly written. I actually WISH it was... At least I would've had SOMETHING to laugh at! The artwork is really nice too! Except when the beep is in it. No. She doesn't get the title of "MC". That's reserved for other games... Even the ones I yelled at. That's how low this one should be treated. I will give credit though... There was a part where this sheet head didn't know jack about cooking. So when she went to "change" the ingredients/steps to her liking? I thought it was funny. Funny in a way that I hoped she'd eat it herself and get poisoned. (Sadly it never happened..........) And yes, I was well aware of the warnings of others about this book, but I had to see it for myself. There was also a cute …6 found this helpful
I was literally praying to get one of the bad endings because none of the guys deserves to be with such insufferable female main character.2 found this helpful
Mediocre execution of a decent premise. I love tsundere protagonist (i.e. Cinderella Phenomenon, Variable Barricade, etc.). However, Ahri and her love interests are too one-dimensional to make for a compelling romance story. It's cute although she clearly has better chemistry with one love interest over the other (poor Kenta). If the game was maybe a little longer, or maybe free?, I wouldn't be so fussed but I just don't think it's worth the price. It's just too bare bones. Go play Cinderella Phenomenon instead for a tsundere female protagonist who undergoes character development - or even Fujiwara Bittersweet (check the TWs) or Our Life for a cute coming of age romance. You can find what's done in this game much better elsewhere. TL;DR - Not worth the price tag; look elsewhere in free titles (i.e. Ebon Light and Cinderella Phenomenon) for better-made games with more substance.1 found this helpful
Short and sweet vn. There were some typos which isn't uncommon for these types of games. I loved the character development and the visuals were flawless.1 found this helpful
