✦ AI summary

Quadrium offers a fresh take on puzzle games with its marble-shooting mechanic that requires strategic thinking to clear boards, and players appreciate the unique concept and early level variety. However, some find the core gameplay loop repetitive and monotonous across its 90 levels, feeling that quantity doesn't compensate for limited mechanical depth despite competent execution.

Pastime , match 3 , puzzle. It's not just Match 3 where you just need to match 3 or more symbols to match the board, NO! Here it's different and much more fun because you have a whole board of marbles to shoot towards the center. Attention it is not that simple you need to think carefully before acting because if we fail to eliminate the marbles they will accumulate thus increasing the difficulty. It's very long-lived because you have 90 levels available, the first are easy it's a sort of training to learn, then the marbles begin to hide behind crates, low walls, made of wood, glass, stone I assure you that you need a little strategy to complete the level. But don't worry, the game also gives you many bonus hints that will appear on the board as you play, you can use dynamite, bombs, a rocket, or lightning. Click on the question mark in the lower right corner and read the guide; Consult it regularly to learn how to break down obstacles. Be careful because while you play some symbols may appear that hinder you, a Sphere or an Antibonus Padlock, avoid passing over them with the spheres because you will be penalized with the addition of other randomly colored marbles. Actually, I honestly don't know how this ended up on my Wishlist, but, whatever... Anyway, Quadrium was currently on sale, so I figured what the hey. This looks like a match three or Zuma variation but it really isn't. It's a rather unique concept - your objective is to clear the static (so far) marble layout presented on the board by launching a marble from the side of the board that has the same color. Depending on the current layout, the marble you launch may take out one or multiple marbles of the same color. The marble you launch can only follow a straight vertical or horizontal path (so far) from its original spot on the side of the board. You quickly get the idea on the no brainer first couple levels, but then the level layouts become more challenging and you have to start thinking ahead sequentially. Not stressfully so, because there is no timer, so in the short time I've played it, it's been enjoyable, yet not mindless. Very pleasing game design and mechanics as well. Adjustable volume music/fx sounds, and it appears to allow for individual players to save their progress too, so bragging rights. I see they also have a Quadrium 2 and 3, so I grabbed 3 as it wa…

A new and interesting approach to the match 3 games. You need to think where to shoot your ball to finish the board.
