There are no sweeping tales of heroism here, only the cold grind of damage control. Supplies run thin and time runs even thinner. And whenever a tiny blip on the map disappears, the world feels a little smaller.

Quarantine takes a different angle on the global outbreak scenario by placing the player not in the role of a survivor or aggressor, but as the coordinator of a worldwide response effort. Developed by Sproing and published by 505 Games, it leans heavily into a turn-based, board game-inspired structure where every decision is deliberate, calculated, and often made under pressure. This is an interesting addition to the pandemic idea, an advanced gameplay set up that can be fun and rewarding, albeit with limited scope. The achievements do keep the game alive and kicking a little longer. There is a fair amount of balance and the 3 levels of difficulty trully represent a significant amount of progress for the player. I suppose you can set your own challenges and limitations and make the game even more twisted. Oh well, I do recommend it, its not heaps of fun but its challenging for quite a while.
