About Radiant Crusade

PLUNGE INTO THE OCEAN OF DARKNESS

Third-person non-VR

VR

Radiant Crusade is a stylized fusion between exhilarating car combat and high intensity tower defense action.

Survive the onslaught of creatures fighting to expel you from the realm of darkness by taking control of a versatile vehicle giving you unshackled locomotion and a powerful arsenal of upgradable abilities.

Travel at time warping speeds and annihilate enemies in a single blow using the Charge.
Leverage the Charge's 'Hyper Time' effect to move through time faster than enemies.
Utilize tracking Missiles to slow and blast enemies into oblivion.
Upgrade missiles with the ability to slow time for each enemy hit!
Deploy Time Bubbles to draw enemies into a time void, in which they seize to a halt upon entry, while taking damage over time.
Knock back enemies with a powerful AOE blast using the Shotgun

How to play!?

 • In VR, the game is played in the first person perspective, from a cockpit inside the car.
 • In Non-VR, the game is played from the third-person perspective, behind the car, with full orbit camera controls.
 • The player drives across a sandbox sized world to combat enemies coming from often distant places, each moving to the center, where the tower is located, and defending itself from.
 • After each level, expend the increasing amounts of energy to unlock powerful upgrades, using a vast skill tree.
 • Survive through as many levels as possible, fighting increasingly powerful and varied enemies.
Introduction
Here we go again! As much as writing negative reviews might displease me, I can’t always post positives and especially so when there are so few redeeming points to outweigh a game’s many flaws. This is in fact my first negative review since Curator Connect has been implemented by Valve and I’m partially to blame since I wasn’t selective enough. Nevermind, I shall do my best to point out the decent aspects of the game as well. It’s certainly not the case of an asset flip or lazy/broken Early Access project. That former label isn't even featured and perhaps it should have been. As the Steam debut of developer Radiance Games, they started off on the wrong foot regardless of their intentions.
Story
At least half of the title bares some resemblance to what you’re seeing on-screen. It is radiant in the sense that there are lots of glowing objects around the map. They’re more like neons though and that vehicle which the players shall control seems like a poor depiction of a scrapped piece of Tron artwork. But crusade? Crusading against what, those giant insects? From the looks of it, since we have zero story development, I am more inclined to consider this …

I got it on the Steam winter sale for $3.99. It's a close call, but I just can't recommend this game. It's not awful, it might even be fun for some. But it's just too basic for me to recommend. Gaze to aim just kills any fun for me that this game might have had. You drive around in circles shooting stuff while you upgrade your vehicle and tower. Waves keep getting tougher and more numerous. Seems like the thing to do is to upgrade that tower, your defenses, and your missiles. Enemy variety is on the thin side. There's big and small enemies from what I can tell. I don't know if there is a kill priority to the enemies. It was hard to notice if any acted differently. It seemed to be more about how big they were than anything and looking at your radar to see where they were coming from. Rating 4.5/10 I just didn't have fun, maybe others will find it more enjoyable, I died after about 23 minutes of playing and killing wave after wave, and I just tapped out, no more please

no... just no... I forgot I bought this game on sale, lost a refund, the only reason I got it was because it has VR mode... played it for 5 min and Im sure this game is not worth my time... well, keep the work going devs... I hope your next game will improve over this... any game you made will! dont give up! confusing aim mode and mechanics just drop me off instantlly... If it had a demo I would never ever had bought this one!

Urgly, boring and repetitive. Very blurry visuals, feels like you're driving around in a haze. Can't say I'd recommend it. Screenshots look much nicer then it is in game. Gameplay is so so very minimal, you just drive around and shoot bugs with bland weaponary.
