About Zombie Driver HD
Ram through hordes of zombies in weaponized vehicles across a sprawling city in a 31-mission campaign, plus compete in brutal Blood Race tournaments and endless Slaughter arenas. Destroy everything with a roster of crazy rides—from bulldozers to tanks—equipped with miniguns, flamethrowers, and railguns as you tackle epic boss fights, rescue survivors, and rack up kills on dynamic leaderboards.
Insane mix of cars, speed, explosions, blood and zombies! Fight through an epic narrative campaign or test yourself in the Slaughter and Blood Race modes. Engage huge bosses, save survivors, drive crazy vehicles such as a bulldozer, fire truck or even a tank and smash everything in your way. Take part in the Blood Race tournament - chase other cars and take them down without mercy on brutal racing tracks. Jump into the Slaughter mode and survive as long as possible on specially crafted arenas.
Story mode with 31 missions, sub quests and bonus objectives in a huge, free roaming city, including:
- Epic Boss fights with enormous mutated zombies
- Defending key targets against huge waves of zombies
- Racing against time to rescue survivors
- Transporting dangerous cargo
- Spraying anti-zombie repellent around town
- 13 different vehicles to drive including a firetruck, bulldozer or even a tank
- Race - classic racing spiced up with guns and loads of zombies.
- Eliminator - take down as many vehicles as you can before the time runs out.
- Endurance - there is a bomb on your car and its ticking. Race through checkpoints to extend your time.
- Fight through endless waves of zombies.
- Upgrade your car on the fly.
- Compete with friends on Leaderboards.

Smashing through massive hordes of the undead behind the wheel of a heavily armed vehicle is pure, unadulterated catharsis. The campaign missions and slaughter mode deliver great initial thrills, even if the vehicle handling feels a bit floaty and repetitive over time. At first, Zombie Driver HD seems like a lot of fun. The story mode has potential, and although it repeatedly relies on the same basic mechanics, it remains enjoyable for a while. Unfortunately, the story feels unfinished, leaving several questions unanswered. Slaughter Mode is a fun addition, but it becomes repetitive rather quickly. The final mode, the tournaments, feels like a rushed addition based on the idea that since the game has cars, it should also include racing. However, the physics do not suit this type of gameplay. There is no speedometer, very little sense of speed, and the races lack excitement. I found almost no enjoyment in competing against the other cars. Overall, the entire game feels somewhat unfinished and wonky. It has some entertaining ideas, but none of its modes feel polished or developed enough to remain enjoyable for long.3 found this helpful

Honestly, this game is absolute peak mindless fun. The upgrade system is super satisfying, and wiping out huge hordes of zombies never gets old. I’ve beaten this on Xbox 360, Switch, and PC over the years, and it’s easily one of my favorite comfort games. It runs like a total dream on handhelds.
