Redneck Rampage Rides Again

Better than the first game (you get to kill aliens, drive motorcycles and swamp boats), one of the best games on the Build Engine. Game looked great for its time. Just when Redneck Rampage wasn't enough, Xatrix gave us this awesome sequel. Truly where gaming actually peaked. It cured my cancer, made my family rich, saved the world from Satan himself, and much more. Thank you Redneck Rampage Rides Again. You will truly go down in history for all the good you've done.

Classic, one of my favorite games before the internet was invented. Using the patch on the guide page allowed to change screen size and automatically changed the controls to normal keyboard WASD and allows you to set control bindings to your own liking. The music included with the patch isn't the full sound track but at least its most of it. Odd the full sound track wasn't included in the purchase download.

Eventhough this is an older game. I still enjoy it very much. It works on the same engine as Duke Nukem. Enjoyable firstperson shooting game.

Time is not accurate, I played this in the RedNukem source port. Overall, this does improve on the original game, but brings back of the poor level design that I hated in the first game that got fixed in Route 66. On a positive note, I think the difficulty did get nailed here. I had a lot of fun trying to balance which weapons were best for the situation and getting prepared for the next trap I would wonder in. The motorcycle kind of grew on me by the end, even if the boat didn't. The boat probably could have, but the levels based around it are built like mazes with the worst possible ability of figuring out where you are since everything looks the same. El Paso is the standout level honestly and just reminded me that this could have been better. Waco was a bizarre inclusion that I did get some joy out of seeing. I would probably recommend this game to people curious about Build Engine/boomer shooters still. It does have some cool stuff and I don't think it was a waste of time, it just fall shorts of the greats.
