Each player starts with a unique character, representing their family's particular strengths and weaknesses, and an individual home that can be upgraded over time.

Players will use action points, gold and spend resources to construct buildings, hire workers, and gather more resources. As players build up their cities together, they will unlock new abilities and gain access to more powerful options. Upgrading your personal home is crucial, as it provides additional benefits and reflects your rising status in Roman society.

Players must carefully manage their resources, balancing their desire for more powerful structures with the need to keep their workers fed and their finances stable. They must also keep an eye on their opponents, sabotaging their plans and disrupting their progress.

Produce over 50 different goods in a variety of buildings, each with its own unique benefits. Trade with diverse cities, form caravans, and establish lucrative trade routes to grow your influence and wealth in the Roman world.
As the game progresses, players will build their own unique version of a Roman city, with districts, buildings, and structures that reflect their strategic vision.
