PopCap created one of the greatest games of all time in Peggle. Despite a few sequels, they refuse to go back and give us more. It's times like these that the torch must be picked up by indie devs. I've played most of the Peggle-likes out there. There are some good ones. But none of them really capture the magic of peggle. It is always peggle with something else slapped on top of it, which is never quite as fun as the game of hitting pegs. I can confidently say, this is the Peggle successor for the modern day. This too is a game that is peggle + something, but unlike those other games the something does not take away from the core experience, but elevates it in new ways. This is peggle + Balatro, which is reductive in a way, but accurate. People say Nubbys Number Factory is peggle + balatro, but it's not! It has pegs, but it plays nothing like peggle. This is peggle as you remember it. The physics feel a little different, but the speed , precision, feeling, and gameplay are exactly what you want. So let's talk about the experience of playing. This game is a lot more inspired than most in the balatro-inspired roguelike sphere, with a plethora of unique mechanics. I think its a fun game that deserves more attention, however I do have some issues with it in terms of performance, I experienced regular long freezes before shops, and considerable dips in performance once in an endless run. My computer isn't amazing, but I think this game should be able to run more than fine on it the glossary also makes no distinction between items you have or haven't unlocked, with no hints to the unlock conditions, either. and finally, this is subjective but I find it strange that youre not allowed to continue a round after you've hit the round goal despite the fact that theres no benefit to having extra balls at the end, I feel like having a weaker build is almost preferable then in the sense you have more time to hit money pegs

Ridiculously addicting once you get into the swing of things, with an amazing soundtrack to match that still gets stuck in my head all the time. Would reccomend to anybody looking for a new roguelite, or feeling the nostalgia of Peggle. A fun and rewarding experience through and through (though I still can't to beat all the cabinets </3) 10/10 no notes

Frankly the game looks funny and addictive, but you will encounter game breaking bug like the spawn of black hole in front of your launcher so every peg will be sucked in without giving you a chance to play. Such mistake clearly points at absence of QA who should see such problem and actually fix it. Avoid this game, its not worthy of your time since such bugs will ruin your runs no matter what and its completely random, so no matter of skill will help you with it.

I have played 37 hours of this which is enough for me to say that it's pretty fun But the good things do also come with bad things and one of the major ones are: the game needs some balancing, some rare tokens do almost nothing as if it could have been a common and some common tokens are pretty powerful Some of the bosses are are big run killers, some boss abilities may need adjusting.. such as Anti Heal Other than that I do like this game
