About Ritual of Raven
Ritual of Raven is a cozy, story-based farming sim - but you don’t do the farming yourself! Instead you collect and enchant Arcana Constructs to grow your magical herb garden. In a world where different traditions of magic live side by side, ambitious plans were made to open portals between worlds, but the ritual went terribly wrong. Those involved each lost something most precious to them and the portals became unstable, randomly spitting out new arrivals into the world. After falling through one of these mysterious portals yourself, you encounter the local witch Sage, who decides you’re the best person to help her in her quest. Taken under her wing as an apprentice, you’ll be able to help search for her missing Familiar, Flufferstoop. With your cheeky Familiar Raven by your side, you’ll gather the knowledge and ingredients to perform powerful rituals. Fill your Book of Shadows and find the Portal Keepers to bring stability to the portals that have been causing trouble for the village.
Did you know, harvesting lavender with your hands completely destroys its magical properties? Fear not, that’s why Arcana Constructs are there to do all your magical gardening for you! Using a mystical deck of cards, you’ll be able to enchant them to plow, sow seeds, water and harvest them for you. Collect all 22 Constructs and create a thriving herb garden.
Make friends with the quirky community of outcasts and help them grow closer to each other. Get to know their unique backstories and trade with them for valuable ingredients.
Learn how your harvest changes in each moon phase and use the moons power to charge your crystals. Discover how to command the moon phases to suit your needs at the moon shrine. There’s a lot more to the moon than meets the eye.
After finding yourself in a brand-new land, it's important to make it feel as homely as possible. Take a trip to Pistachio’s and get creative with their stock of out-of-this-world furniture to decorate the village and your farm.
Let your Construct extract and fuse lots of different crystals, fill the library and throw your fishing claw into the portals to pull out artifacts from different worlds!

Even if having a few UI and controller issues, the game is lovely. I loved the story to the point that I needed even more, and I think the ending required something more, not different, just an extra chunk of story. Besides that, I fell in love with the game, and when I finished it I was sad that here was no more story to it. It is fun and cute, very well optimized, which is always appreciated.1 found this helpful
Although I do see the potential of this game, and I absolutely love the art style, I stopped playing because the "fetch" style quests got boring really fast. I was constantly being sent from person to person, when I really just wanted to get into the actual gameplay. I lost interested and did not continue...For someone who can get past the beginning stages of the game, maybe it'll end up being worth it.
I am having a blast with this game so far! It's super cute, the story is interesting, the characters are super loveable, and the mechanics are really unique compared to other similar games. I haven't even met all the NPCs yet, I love slowly unlocking new quirky characters to chat with!
The construct programming mechanics are a lot of fun. The density of fetch quests is a bit high, especially early on in the game, but it gets better after a couple hours.
I'm really enjoying this game. I LOVE the vibrant colors and the character designs! Programming the constructs (I can't remember what they're called, but the golem cuties that help you with your tasks) is a lot of fun and a fresh aspect for me. I really like that I am able to take my time with completing requests and that I can do them in any order as long as I have access to the materials and tarot cards. This is truly a cozy game, one that is enjoyable and extremely low stress, which is so nice because I am someone dealing with chronic stress. I really do love the art and music for this game. The colors are so inspiring and it just makes me happy to run around and look at everything. I love seeing the different emotions the characters display as you talk to them. I just really enjoy this game and am recommending it to my friends who also enjoy cozy games.
This is a super adorable game. I played for almost 38 hours to 100% and enjoyed every bit of it. It is a simple farming game that you don't really farm as it has a programming aspect to it. I enjoyed that I was able to set my constructs to start farming and I could go off and do other things. The storyline felt enjoyable and even progressed after the main story was done. After finishing the story, I would strongly recommend playing through more of the friendship quests as that devolves into more of the history within the game. The game was also beautiful. While having more pixelated graphics, all the colors are so vibrant and the art style still puts so much emotion into the characters. I only had 2 issues with the game. I went through a cutscene with Charly and when she left her home to start her part of the quest, the game wouldn't let me out of that and I had to Alt + F4 to quit out of the game and totally restart my day, but this only happened once my entire playthrough. The other issue I had was that it was a lot of fetch quests, when even your familiar points out later in the game. It's not a big issue as that is part of the game mechanic to farm items for rituals, spe…
