Rocket of Whispers: Prologue is less a traditional game and more a carefully composed emotional prelude, a short interactive piece that sets the tone for the larger narrative found in SIGONO INC.’s OPUS universe. As a standalone experience, it is deliberately modest in scope, but that restraint is precisely what allows it to deliver a quiet, lingering impact. Rather than overwhelming the player with systems or exposition, it invites them into a fragile, frozen world through the eyes of Fei Lin, a young woman awakening from isolation into a reality that feels both unfamiliar and irreversibly changed. The story unfolds with a sense of stillness that defines the entire experience. Fei Lin emerges from a sheltered underground space into an environment that has clearly suffered a catastrophic shift, yet the game never rushes to explain what has happened. Instead, it leans into ambiguity, allowing the player to piece together the emotional context through sparse dialogue and environmental storytelling. This approach creates a deeply personal atmosphere, where the focus is not on uncovering a grand narrative immediately, but on experiencing the character’s confusion, solitude, and gradua…
