About Kinoko
✦ AI summary
Guide the forest spirit Kinoko through a peaceful woodland journey, clearing snow and planting flowers to restore spring to each area. This meditative 15-minute experience combines gentle exploration with relaxing tasks, offering a calming escape designed to be completed in one tranquil sitting.
Step aside winter - spring is coming.
Help the forest spirit Kinoko clear the world of winter and bring about spring. Clear away snow, plant flowers, and watch the world return to life as you wander through the woods. So, sit down, relax, and take some time to smell the flowers and listen to the bird song.
Kinoko is a short, about 15 min, relaxing third person experience that should be completed in one sitting (the game has no saving system). You will perform a number of tasks in each forest area to be able to unlock the next stone pillar and be able to proceed your journey. You will get familiar with the tasks by the four forest helpers guiding you, on the tutorial island at the start of the game.
We recommend that you play the game with a controller (but is playable with keyboard and mouse).
Kinoko is a student project created by ThunderLime, and the winning game of Dare Academy 2018.

Beautiful game, i dont really understand it but its either way great.
Fun and immersive atmosphere, extremely short. Would lvove a longer version.
My camera kept moving abruptly to the sides. Other than that, after playing for a short while, I can say it is a fun game to play, the graphics are not bad, taken as a whole, and it does seem to be quite relaxing.
It took me a while to figure out the keyboard controls, but it didn't affect my experience. It was a nice game, I liked it.
I was bored from all my other games, and just not having anything to play. I wanted a game with nice visuals and good gameplay. Even though this game feels like a demo of something big, the stylized graphics are amazing. Its a really nice game to play when feeling unmotivated 8.5/10 cozy game.
Peaceful, colourful, and worth playing even without achievements. I only wish they had developed it into longer gameplay somehow.
