Rush for Berlin Gold

A good RTS from my childhood. It's basically Team Fortress 2 or Inglourious Basterds if either of them were a World War II RTS The worst thing you can do is watch an American officer punch an entire crew off an enemy tank and think to yourself, "Hmm, I should probably start judging this game's historical accuracy" This game doesn't try to be historically accurate, nor does it try to be particularly realistic. It has plenty of funny and absurd moments and easter eggs here and there, but it's not just nonstop jokes and gags - and I think that's for the best. It knows when to be ridiculous without turning the entire game into a parody. But if you're looking for some serious WW2 game, this one isn't for you

The constant hint pop-ups make it a terrible day to have eyes. It's like Close Combat, but worse because it constantly assumes you can't figure out how to play. Also the control scheme is awful.

This game is the worst from the Codename: Panzers series. Pros: - Funny cut-scenes - Better graphics than Codename: Panzers, Phase One and Codename: Panzers, Phase Two Cons: - Controls are much worse than Codename: Panzers - Several missions with unlimited enemies - Last missions are brutal or extremely slow (you need to wait for hours to get resources to create decent army) Get it with highest discount as possible or get any other Codename game (better)

It's good if you haven't played anything in the RTT genre. It's bad compared to Sudden Strike and Blitzkrieg. The combat is flaccid, spongey and downright laughable, clearing a map in SS or Blitzkrieg feels more or less like you are in an actual battle. Clearing step by step, moving units around, operating logistics, positioning your scout and artillery. It's trying to reinvent hot water, without knowing why the water is hot in the first place, Just buy Blitzkrieg or Sudden Strike(the old titles), but if you want something 3D, grab Syrian Warfare or its predecessor Warfare Reloaded
