This is my first time playing a Rusty Lake game, and I had a great time! I did have to look at the walkthrough several times (though I think I would have gotten through without it on half of those, with a little more patience). A great mix of "easier" puzzles and more difficult ones, and I love the eerie tone. Can't wait to play the other games!

Basically peak fiction

Really fascinating story line and brilliantly thought out puzzles that will scratch the right itch if you like a challenge and have the patience to see it through. I started playing these games when I need a study break and they are really great for just refreshing your brain before you start the next task or for a rainy day deep dive into the lore. I usually play through a few puzzles when I am on a break and then go onto the next thing. This approach also helps you take in the story progression more and really appreciate the experience. It's a really cool series overall and I want to eventually play through them all.

Masterpiece full of inspiration

For me personally, Rusty Lake: Roots had the best puzzles till now. They were coherent and understandable. As always, the story is a bit special, to say the least, but still interesting to follow. I had a great time.
