Classic Rusty Lake game👍

I enjoyed the puzzles. I belong to the lake now.

I really liked this one! Probably my second favorite Rusty Lake title so far (after Servant of the Lake). A wild amount of post game content that I would not have gotten through without a guide (I am playing through the titles in chronological order and haven't yet unlocked a clue used late in this game needed for a "post game" adventure...also I'd just never have gone through all those video tapes...). Sometimes the clues are a bit of stretch (you need a crowbar to open a grate in one scene, but can just pluck a pack of matches through another grate they clearly won't fit through later...sometimes I get stuck overthinking the puzzles...), but overall a lot of fun. I think it's a very creative and fun premise - both to revisit different times in a character's life (but different from the tree structure of Roots!), and to string together a series of single room puzzles into a larger, connected narrative. Very cool. Loved spending time with Laura, loved the connections to other games, loved the structure.

Been playing through all the Rusty Lake games ever since I saw them played on a YouTube Channel and this one has compelled me to write a review because it's incredibly well done, and the devs should be so so proud of themselves! Underground Blossom is poignant, and beautiful, and the puzzles were incredibly rewarding whilst staying fair, which I can't say the same for some of the other games. Not to say I dislike the puzzle design, it's just very abstract which works quite well for the series. Uncovering everything in the metro was an absolute treat! I highly recommend checking this one out if you had to play any of the games. (But like, play all of them, they're really clever!)
