About Samurai Riot Definitive Edition
Samurai Riot is a 2D co-op Beat ‘Em Up game with a twist! Play as Sukane or Tsuruamaru, two charismatic warriors torn between their duty and their beliefs, and follow your own path of Honor to one of 8 unique endings.

On Your Marks, Get Set, Go! Find all the tools you need for a perfect speed-run, including time ranking and score ranking.

A Unique Cooperative System
- The co-op system evaluates and rewards you based on how well you are working together.
- Coordinate your attacks with your partner and fill up the central gauge to unleash the most powerful attack in Samurai Riot: The Co-op Special Move!
8 different endings
- Difficult moral choices: would you rather burn an entire village to the ground or maintain your conscience at risk of losing the war? Any decision you make will greatly impact your story.
- Follow the same path as a team or disagree and battle it out in a PvP fight!
Strong replay value
- Branching Storyline: explore multiple playthroughs to unlock the whole story of Samurai Riot!
- Fighting Schools: the more you play, the more fighting schools you can unlock. Each new school unlocks new gameplay options and greater specialisation.
Fight with style
- Characters: discover two strong and highly skilled heroes that offer unique gameplay and deadly attacks, plus a bunch of vicious enemies to fight against.
- Controls: staying true to arcade games history, we created very intuitive controls, enjoyable with any controller or joystick. We want the gameplay to be completely flexible, suitable for any player.
Speed-running Friendly

Clunky controls, cringey weeaboo writing, music puts me to sleep. Why can't I remap the shoulder button actions to triggers? (they are remapped, but still work only on buttons) Instead of a grab or a throw you get a weird immobilizing chain move. The moveset seems limited even for a beat'em'up, unfortunately. It's just a lot of running through repetitive and needlessly empty environments, beating up annoying enemies. Not all are bad, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the kappa. And when you think it's over, they throw in more kappa. Some items that fall out of destructible terrain can be picked up, a lot of them can't. Why? Both seem to be able to be stolen by those weird tanuki (?). There are no temporary weapons (that I found), or cool environmental interactivity. (no kicking or throwing people into things, or off places etc.) Maybe get this if you really love beat'em'ups and wanna play a new one.4 found this helpful

music is really nice, shame that everything else is just so, so bad aerial attacks are useless, grabs are almost non-existant and also useless, special moves are meh at best, AI is cheap and will constantly spam a single move and stunlock you to death, enemy variety is also almost non-existant but yeah, music is cool i guess either get it on sale, or just skip it, you won't miss much here1 found this helpful
No v-sync, no lock fps. My GPU GTX960M runs this game on 500 fps, why I need my GPU working 100%. I had to make a workaround to lock the fps.1 found this helpful
If Kevin Smith made an indie Samurai Beat em up game and based the main character off of Justin Long lol :P Full Controller support, fun, simple...Give it a go peeps. I enjoyed it!1 found this helpful
if ya wanna play the game on keyboard, you need to know: "wasd" for moving - nope change controls - nope "esdf" for moving - yeah lots of identical looking enemies too much hp little to no variety It's easier to beat bosses than basic units
