Raging Justice is a brutal scrolling beat 'em up that reminded me of Pit Fighter and perhaps even more closely it's spiritual successor Guardians of the 'Hood. I was unsure about the style of the game at first, but I was surprised by how much depth there is to the gameplay. A great feature is the arrest mechanic, where you have to capture bad guys to get health items. This makes you think about how you fight rather than just mashing buttons. The game can feel unfair when there are too many enemies on the screen, but it does make the action feel more intense. There are even parts where groups of enemies surround you to create an arena, which gives it that classic Pit Fighter feel. There are plenty of weapons to pick up and interesting bosses to fight, and it's a game I'd highly recommend to fans of the genre.

This games was clearly inspired by streets of rage. And that is not a bad thing. Graphics and sound are decent and the gameplay will keep you busy for some hours. This is ofcourse best when you play this together with someone else. It's a lot of very simple fun! RECOMMENDED!

Raging Justice is a modern throwback to the golden age of arcade beat-’em-ups, built with a clear love for the genre’s raw energy, exaggerated violence, and straightforward sense of purpose. Developed by MakinGames Ltd and published by Team17 Digital Ltd, the game positions itself firmly as a street-level brawler where crime has spiraled out of control and only relentless fists, improvised weapons, and a heavy dose of vigilante justice can restore order. It does not attempt to reinvent the genre, but instead focuses on refining familiar mechanics and injecting them with a few distinctive twists that give the experience its own personality. At its core, Raging Justice delivers classic side-scrolling combat that emphasizes momentum and crowd control. Players choose from a small roster of characters, each with slightly different stats and attack styles, and wade into waves of criminals using punches, kicks, grabs, throws, and environmental attacks. The controls are responsive and immediate, encouraging aggressive play and quick reactions. Combos are simple rather than technical, but they feel weighty, especially when chaining strikes into grabs or tossing enemies into one another or …
