Scale Enchanter

I would like to use it to teach my students about basic music theory, but LYDIAN HAS A #4 INSTEAD OF #5 how could this mistake last for nearly one and half a year????? Hope you fix it soon

I can assure you that I did [i]not[/i] really learn any musical scales playing this, and that I am still as theoretically inept as I was before I played this game.

Perhaps even too minimalistic, because it didn't really teach anything. For those who already know this stuff - this is waste of time. For those wanting to learn scales - look elsewhere. Price is not an issue but this is still not worth your time.

I played through all the major and minor scales, and then part of the harmonic minor. It's fine. Probably good for students trying to learn the patterns in musical scales, but it's not great for professional musicians. One thing I wish it'd let you do is skip around. If I were a student, I'd like to learn what "major melodic" is without having to rehash learning all of major, minor, harmonic minor, and melodic minor. Especially if I already have learned it. 7/10, overall good, but some things left to be desired.

This is either a repetitive sort-the-notes game if you understand music or a repetitive trial & error game if you don't. There is some info about the structure of certain scales, but that's not very helpful if you are new to music theory. 100%ing the game boils down to beating every level, which can be done with 0 musical understanding.
