About Seed 2313
Story Background
In the year 2313, nearly 300 years have passed since the planet was struck by the “Seed.” The Seed is a colonization weapon created by an advanced civilization. It alters the natural environment of a planet, making it hostile to humans while spawning predators designed to eradicate all life.Humanity discovered the existence of the Seed a century later—but by then it was already too late. Earth had become a shattered world. Refusing to accept extinction, humanity began a plan that would span centuries. And one day, you will awaken to carry it out…Roguelike + Extraction
The game combines Roguelike mechanics with extraction gameplay. Players can scavenge valuable resources and obtain items that enhance character abilities. Every run offers new challenges and exciting combat. In this world, surviving and extracting may be more important than fighting to the end.Equipment System
The game features a wide selection of characters and weapons. Equipment can be found while exploring the map, or obtained through trading and crafting.Pre-Equipped Buff Items
Buff items are no longer completely random. Players can equip multiple enhancement items before entering a run, making it easier to create powerful builds. These items can also be found, purchased, or crafted during gameplay.Infinite Map
The game features an infinite map generation system. Battles are no longer confined by boundaries, and each map may contain its own gameplay mode, creating endless and unpredictable combat experiences.Building System
Various structures can be built across different maps. Some fight alongside you, some restore your health, and others recharge your energy. Building them in the field may completely change how each run unfolds.Affinity System
Certain items can be given to NPCs to increase affinity. Higher affinity grants discounts on their goods and better rewards when selling items to them. What Steam players say

You play as someone who has just woken up and discovered that you slept for much longer than intended. Luckily, there’s someone nearby who brings you to a base from which you head out into the wild to complete missions. After fumbling through the settings in the dark to find the English language, you can enable both auto aim and auto fire to relieve pressure on your fingers. Although this feature comes from the survivor genre, the rest of the game is more action focused, where you move through individual screens and fire using only the selected weapon. You can equip three different weapons, all with unlimited ammo, but they must go through a short reload period. Additional moves include a dodge that drops a bomb behind you and a rocket attack. Both need to recharge before they can be used again. The roguelite element comes from random items that offer various perks. You often receive one each time you clear a screen of enemies, and they stack so their effects increase. There are all kinds of perks, such as ricochet bullets, increased critical and base damage, health boosts for each kill, and many others. However, when you return to the base, all of them are removed. As mentione…1 found this helpful
Goodness this game is good. Like, it's really, really good. So much nuance and replayabilty. Despite the fact I don't really know what I'm doing and cannot complete the 2nd mission, despite hours of play, I love it. If anyone know, however, any advice regarding using the 'evacuation device' would be much appreciated!
Seed 2313, developed and published by DaShanGames, is a genre-blending indie title that leans heavily into systems-driven design, combining roguelike progression, extraction-style gameplay, and base-building elements into a unified, if somewhat experimental, experience. Set in a distant future where Earth has been overtaken by a mysterious alien force known as the “Seed,” the game frames its action within a bleak survival narrative. Humanity is no longer in control, and the player steps into the role of a persistent survivor attempting to endure, adapt, and gradually push back against an environment that feels both hostile and indifferent. While the story remains mostly in the background, it provides enough context to give weight to the gameplay loop and the constant struggle for resources. The central loop revolves around entering procedurally generated zones, scavenging for materials, fighting through waves of enemies, and making the critical decision of when to extract. This risk-versus-reward structure gives the game a steady tension that persists throughout each run. Staying longer in a zone increases the potential rewards, but it also escalates the danger, creating a constan…
