Players are divided on this survival shooter, with some appreciating its tense atmosphere and unique mechanics like petting catgirls for resources, while others find it frustratingly buggy with unclear mechanics, poor enemy visibility, and performance issues that plague the Unity-based game. The core concept shows promise for hardcore survival fans, but technical problems, audio glitches, confusing difficulty design, and lack of clear objectives significantly hamper the experience for most players.
game is extremely buggy and not worth your time. cant even tell you what you were supposed to do in it.4 found this helpful
10/10 can pet and get hugs from catgirls Tips: Move slowly, only sprint if you're 100% sure its clear If something is near the edge of the screen its highlighted from further away You can change/check controls on the right side of the "conf" screen in the menu Shoot the turrets light You can shoot the robot to stun it so you can shoot the red box on its back to save ammo Keep an eye out for red blinking lights, they're bombs Don't make the flashlight too bright, it will drown out the red lights Keep an ear out for insect noises, they're small mobile bombs Piercing bullets can go through walls Groups of enemies generally means there's a captured cat, free and hug them for 5 dust SAVE YOUR DUST and explore the map, you can find scopes, guns, ammo and upgrades3 found this helpful
cool concept but it's way too janky to be any fun. I couldn't stomach the tutorial because the audio consistently bugged out and was maintaining this awful buzzing noise.
hell no man
Red Dust, developed by Mukorka, is an experimental first-person shooter that emphasizes tension, realism, and survival over spectacle. It is an indie project that strips the genre down to its most nerve-wracking essentials, forcing players to navigate an unforgiving landscape where precision and patience are the only paths to success. The premise is simple yet starkly effective—you are placed in a procedurally generated environment covered in desolate terrain, and your goal is to endure long enough to gather resources, upgrade your equipment, and survive encounters with hostile forces. There are no elaborate storylines or cinematic sequences to guide you; instead, the game relies on atmosphere, silence, and the constant awareness that a single mistake can undo everything. It is an exercise in controlled anxiety, where the emptiness of the world becomes a character in itself. The structure of Red Dust feels more like a survival simulation than a traditional action game. Every decision carries weight, from the way you load your weapon to how you move across open ground. Ammunition is limited and valuable, forcing players to think carefully before engaging enemies. Reloading is done …
