About Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered

- A hot-blooded, hellishly twisted, feverishly filthy, love and hate filled road trip
Join the crass Garcia Hotspur and his boney buddy, Johnson, as they traverse the depths of the Underworld to steal back Garcia's kidnapped lover, Paula, from the clutches of Fleming, the Lord of the Underworld. Let the soul of rock 'n' roll run loose in the heart of the twisted hellscape that is the Underworld.

- Make it through fiendishly funky dungeons with the powers of light and dark
The powers of light and dark pave your path forward. Like ravers in a nightclub, demons are emboldened by the dark, but grow weak when exposed to the light. Use your buddy Johnson to blast your way through the darkness of the Underworld.

- New content unique to the remaster
• 4 all new costumes: Get dressed to the nines and kick some demon tail in style.
• After your first playthrough, carry over your progress into new game plus and spend an eternity raising hell in the Underworld.

- A cult classic born from the most creative minds in the industry
A third-person shooter crafted by industry legends Goichi Suda (No More Heroes, Killer7, etc.) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, God Hand, etc.)

But it definitely is very comedy and gore heavy. Sexual themes and innuendos are plentiful, so if sexual imagery bothers you too much, maybe steer clear of this one because it does not hold back in that regard. There are a ton of ♥♥♥♥ jokes. But the shooting is very responsive, satisfying, and there are melee options if you prefer to finish enemies that way. The gameplay formula gets changed up a few times, for better or for worse. In one section, it's more defense where you stand in place with a huge weapon and kill the enemies as they come. It's harmless and only happens once with three levels in it. No big deal. However, there is a separate, side-scroller style form of gameplay that happens three different times when following a particular character. In your first playthrough, the novelty of it won't bother you until maybe the third time, but by then it's over already. But on repeat playthroughs (or NG+), these levels DRAG really bad. Extremely boring slogs but ultimately doesn'…

Controls are ass. graphics options are limited. Mouse and controller both have aim acceleration. Still a fun game.

One of the most underrated games of all time. The writing, the gameplay, the price, and the whole package is great game. Is it perfect? No. But I promise you that if you play it, you will be pleasantly surprised.
