Sharp

"Sharp" is a minimalist 2D mobile app tier retro puzzle game, very much a ripoff of the asset/template flipped game Chocolate Makes You Happy (1 through 8). It's a simple puzzle game where you move in cardinal directions on a grid, but you cannot stop once you begin each directional movement. The developer added some timed movement challenges and other obstacles, but otherwise the game is exactly the same as the DailyIndieGame asset flip shovelware garbage, Chocolate Makes You Happy. On the upside, this is free, where Chocolate Makes You Happy is a nasty cash grab, while this is open sourced, and that's noble, but at the same time it's difficult to say this has made any notable contribution to the volume of video games available today. The same kind of game can be played for free in a browser, so it's difficult to recommend downloading this to have it consume disk space.

If you or a virus dies on a tile as it turns red, sometimes that tile permanently flips color. This means you can softlock the levels due to a poor game mechanic even if you know a puzzle's solution. The reactor level is too damn long to put up with that. Ragequit as a result.

Игра 'Sharp' оказалась на удивление увлекательной головоломкой. Простой, казалось бы, концепт - вращать фигуры, чтобы они образовали цельную картинку - постепенно превращается в настоящий вызов для мозга. Первые уровни служат отличным введением в механику, а вот ближе к середине приходится по-настоящему поломать голову. Визуальный стиль минималистичен и приятен глазу. Ничего лишнего, что отвлекало бы от процесса решения. Музыкальное сопровождение ненавязчивое и создает расслабляющую атмосферу, что тоже важно при сложных задачах. Единственный минус, который могу отметить - это иногда возникающая небольшая монотонность. Однако, это легко компенсируется желанием решить очередную головоломку и увидеть, какая картинка получится в итоге. В целом, 'Sharp' - отличная игра для тех, кто любит интеллектуальные вызовы и хочет скоротать время с пользой для ума. Рекомендую!
