About ShipOS 1994
So you’ve been dumped with the family’s failing shipping empire and you have no idea where to start. Isn’t it funny how often things like these happen… It happens so often in-fact that we decided to help out by developing ShipOS 1994, the industry’s leading integrated shipping management operating system.
Fleet Mapping Map the location of all ships in your fleet in real-time. Provide them with instructions on sailing to new locations. View their current cargo and more, all from within the Global Map application.
Contract Management View and accept new contracts from ports across the world according to your fleet size and capabilities. Choose contracts which will bring you the greatest return on your investment.
Upgrades Upgrade your ships to maximise their potential and invest only in the upgrades which will add value to your shipping routes. You can also upgrade your docks at ports to reduce refuelling and servicing costs at specific locations.
Finance Management We know you owe the bank a lot of money, so we’ve given you the ability to borrow even more…that makes sense…right?
And so much more! There are so many more applications from fleet procurement through to a electronic music player and more applications will be added as time goes on!

Whether you want to operate a hub-and-spoke model, operate only across certain contract types (dry goods, liquids, resources), or operate a certain type of ship which aligns with your route planning, we have you covered. Now Featuring Pinhead!
Your very own personal assistant and operating system guide! Pinhead won’t harvest your personal data to feed his ever growing understanding of humanity which he one day definitely doesn’t intend to conquer (maybe).Features
We know that your family expects you to operate your shipping empire to repay the enormous debt from their chronic mismanagement, embezzling, and most likely fraud over the last couple of decades, so to help you out we’ve loaded ShipOS 1994 with the latest and greatest in fleet management applications. You’ll get access to:Fleet Mapping Map the location of all ships in your fleet in real-time. Provide them with instructions on sailing to new locations. So the idea of this game, is you inherited a shipping company and a million in debt. The game is made in the visual style of the retro windows 3 windowed games, except it is like that on purpose. It pretends to be a a desktop operating system, which is a pretty cute concept. It needs some more polishing to really stand out, hopefully we will see some new features as the game development evolves to make it really addictive. It has some passing similarities transport themed tycoon games, and is not too difficult to figure out how to play. It makes for a fun casual game if you really have some time to spare but really don't want to be thinking too hard. Gameplay Synopsis: You have a little capital left over, enough to buy a ship. Where the rest of the million dollars went isn't really explained, in my head space, I just assumed the player inherited the company from some relatives who blew it all on girls, vices and gambling or something. From there you need to develop profitable shipping routes. As you progress you gain upgrade points, and funds which you can invest into unlocking improvements to your ships or ports, and to give you access to new ships and addition…3 found this helpful
Fun game. Fun concept. Needs some polish for the late game where the contract list is long. There should be a select all button for the contract menus. There also seems to be stuttering when the contract list gets to large.3 found this helpful
