About Slaughter 3: The Rebels

A city hidden from the rest of the world.

For years it had been used as a massive prison complex, where all the most dangerous criminals were sentenced for life to be kept locked away in forever. Thousands of thieves, thugs, and killers festering in their anger and rage, wanted to break free.

Now, the prison’s walls have fallen…

The entire complex has been overrun by the enraged criminals. All personnel and security were slaughtered, and local inhabitants forced to flee to the nearby woods.

You alone are left, soldier! Your partner has gone missing and communication with them was lost. To survive this lawless uprising you’ll need to be tough and prepared.
Arm yourself with the best weapons, recruit allies, and find a way to escape this chaos.

I'm not really sure if Slaughter 3: The Rebels is an asset flip. Some elements of this mobile app certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. Also, asset flips normally don't make it to the mobile app stores, but Slaughter 3: is definitely a mobile app, which also raises the question why we have more mobile app garbage on Steam. Ah well. This is ambitious for a mobile app because it's a shoddy attempt at making an over the shoulder view third person shooter game for Android and iPhone, which never works, and it's somewhat remarkable to see all the suspicious positive reviews for what really is a poor game with quality indistinguishable from an asset flip. In this shooter you infiltrate an enemy complex (a prison or …

While I commend the solo efforts of the dev, the game is nothing short of mediocrity. There's almost nothing I can really say even. If you've played a third person shooter like... ever... at all, then you've played this game.

I finished the game in about 6 hours and had a great time. The story is linear and straightforward, ending on a cliffhanger that leaves me curious about what happens next. I'll probably buy the sequel to find out more. The price is fantastic for 6 hours of gameplay, and I definitely recommend it. The graphics give off a nostalgic vibe, reminding me of the PSP era games.

Pretty good pc port of a mobile game for a fair price. Here's hoping other mobile game companies will port their games to PC. It is a good thing to preserve all mobile games for the future.

Looks and plays like a ps2 game but it's definitely mindless fun and I like it.

Played on Linux, Game Store Page does not say but this Game has native 32bit and 64bit Linux Executables and seem to run fine. The Good: - Native Linux executable (Unity 3D). - Graphics are Okay. - Sound is Okay, Music does repeat a lot. - Gameplay for a cheap Indie Game is pretty good. - As you progress you unlock more Weapons/Gameplay Modes/Etc. - AI Buddies once you find and save them, Which will be able to unlock doors you can't. - AI Buddies are not the worst AI I've seen, and you can take control of them using "TAB" Key. The not so Good: - Music repeats the same track and gets a bit annoying. - Sometimes texture flicker but this might be with the Linux Build as did not test with Proton. - Very Slow at Leveling Up. For the low price It's not a bad 3rd person shooter Game, Mission Based Gameplay, Later you unlock free roam mode to help find scrap/money/weapon blue prints/etc, and a bit later then that you can open Wave based Gameplay to help make more Money. For the price i give this a highly Recommended Thumbs Up.
