SMFly: Ice Age

SMFly Ice Age is yet another asset flip/construction kit flip from serial shovelware copy+paste "artists", Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software. These guys do nothing but rip off asset store assets and game tutorials and templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Today's "effort" from these guys is SMFly Ice Age, and it's a garbage 2D retro platformer slapped together with the godawful Cocos Creator game construction kit, presumably a copy+paste from someone else's actual work developing a game. As a game, it's terrible, of course. It's a basic dark-foreground platformer with a gravity switching gimmick, which DNovel have copy+pasted several times in their many cash grabs polluting Steam. For that reason, as a "game", this is below acceptable standards, and has no real merit or value as a genuine, sincerely made PC game. Using game construction kits doesn't need any talent or professional game development effort, and results in terrible shovelware like SMFly Ice Age. [h1]It is what it is[/h1] A boring "jump and run" game. You play as a weightless ball "protagonist?". All you have to do is to avoid these extremly scary spinning nailplanks and saw blades. (Almost got an heart attack just seeing these) Pro's -almost 60 fps -widescreen compatible Contra's -[b](Be aware!)[/b]The game starts in [u]earrape[/u] mode! -And no you can't set the volume ingame because who needs settings ? -Boring surroundings. -Few levels. -You get your achievements before you even see your finish cube. -[u]Not for depressed people.[/u] Maybe a game for ~6years old kids. But definitely not worth the money. Its just like a mobile game for free nothing special. I got this game from a 2€ surprise key box with other 4 trash games.

I acquired this game from and Random game bundle and am quite pleased with having this. I adore the backgrounds on the levels. and you can tell that a fair amount of effort was put into making this. I do wish that the game was explained more at the beginning but it is fairly easy to pick up.

This game is the definition of asset flip garbage. Do not buy this game, except to waste your money.
