About Sounds of Verity
Visual novel, ADV, fantasy, romance, otome
There is unease in the demonic astral plain these days. The Nothern king is dead, and the prince is about to rise to the throne. But he is a strange silent lad. Human commoners (like me) have nothing to do with the local intrigue. Yet...somehow I am now in the very epicenter of this revolution?! Having made a contract with a suspicious demon...I just want to go home! Or in the very least, survive this mess. So please... tell me something!
* Several different endings
* Atmospheric locations
* Plot twists
* Plenty of romantic scenes

Sounds of verity is a short fantasy novel with 12 different endings and 4 death endings. The story is centered around a girl being used as a gift to a foreign demon of the north supposed o have a coronation in the coming weeks by a prince from a southern demon kingdom. Escaping death we are led over an over again with forced contacts to the northern demon Nettain to get him to talk, as talking is not his forte. But through time, we grow more and more attached to him and we start to enjoy our time with him. Artifis, the southern Prince is following our every step and threatens us a few time if we don't comply to his wishes. Through the different routes and endings we are just trying to survive as a human, in a foreign dangerous world, filled with demons, partially some even hungry of human flesh. The story starts a bit dull and boring, but with a bit of reading i started to enjoy the story a bit more. The plot is nice and the different routes makes the dark world a bit more colourful. Sounds of Verity is a fantasy otome visual novel developed by Violet Feature and published by Vorobushek that blends romance, political intrigue, and supernatural mystery into a choice-driven narrative. Rather than focusing on combat or action-oriented gameplay, it delivers an experience centered on storytelling, relationships, and meaningful decisions. The premise immediately captures attention by transporting an ordinary young woman into a dangerous world inhabited by demons and rival factions, where every choice influences both her personal fate and the future of an unstable kingdom. The narrative begins after the death of the northern king, an event that throws the astral realm into uncertainty. As the kingdom prepares for a silent prince to ascend the throne, hidden conspiracies and growing unrest threaten to plunge the land into chaos. The protagonist unexpectedly becomes entangled in these events after entering a contract with a mysterious demon, forcing her to survive in an unfamiliar world filled with deception and shifting alliances. The story effectively balances political drama with personal struggles, allowing players to experience both the larger conflict and the emo…
This is a bit of a mixed bag. The art is very beautiful, but the game is quite short and the story a bit lackluster. In the end the romance interests were a bit boring for me, it would have helped if they had a more enticing character. I see though potential here for future games of the same dev and might give it a try.
The story was disjointed and felt almost like it would skip lines because things skipped around and shifted conversation so abruptly. I kept looking at the log to make sure I didn't miss something.
It's just the right kind of story to have a few laughs during free evening. Thanks)
This game has potential, but it felt to me like the devs got bored or impatient, and then decided to just wrap it up suddenly. It's super short, there's basically no "routes" - there's always just one choice branch for any route, except for
Krudelta, who got no choice, and why does Nettain have 4 endings, and Artifis has just 2? Not to mention that they all feel very similar, always with Nettain going into that weird powerful state... It feels like they didn't expect us to play more than one ending.
I got unlucky and got
Krudeltas
Ending on my first playthrough, and it's even shorter than the others. It's basically just some text going "And then this happens and that happens and time passes and then they kiss, THE END!". It was completely jarring and ripping me out of any immersion. Some of the other endings were jarring too, but some of them were actually good, it was just all happening way too fast. Also, the english was a little weird sometimes. I would've preferred if the game had only one LI and maybe just two endings, rather than all those half-assed ones.
