About Without a Voice

In the depths of a dark and unforgiving forest, an exiled princess whiles her time in solitude. For a girl raised in the lap of comfort, the woods are impossibly harsh, and day-to-day survival is the most she can manage. One day, however, a mysterious, beautiful maiden appears, throwing her world out of its already delicate alignment. The princess is instantly captivated by this stranger, and begins to fancy herself the heroine of a fairytale, even as the maiden proves herself to be less and less of a fantasy.

Foolish princess. She should know by now that her life is no fairytale.

✦ AI summary

This short, free yuri visual novel impresses players with its emotional depth, beautiful art, and fully voice-acted performances that enhance the experience significantly. Players praise the multiple endings, thoughtful writing with self-aware humor, evocative poetry, and wonderful soundtrack, though some note the brevity means multiple playthroughs are necessary to fully understand the complete story. The wholesome yet occasionally dark narrative (featuring unexpected elements like cannibalism) creates a memorable experience that resonates emotionally regardless of which ending players pursue

Before playing the game, I did not know who had published or developed the game but found my self thinking, this is giving me the same emotional depth of Please Be Happy. Although a shorter game in length, it is by far one of the better VN I have played in a while. The multiple endings have me hooked and emotionally attached to each one regardless of "good" or "bad" (there are multiple of each btw). I love that the writer, tongue in cheek, makes fun of themselves for giving our characters such a hard time but you wouldn't notice it unless you had played the other route first. I adore the poems and how it reflects each day. The music is wonderful as well. I have not finished the entire game yet ( I have 4 more endings to go) but the voice acting absolutly makes this game 10x's better and gives the VN so much life that I could not imagine the story would hold the same weight without it. Hauntingly beautiful. KInda makes me wanna go hug a tree.

Lovely little visual novel, with beautiful art and a nice story. The voice acting was great and fit the characters perfectly! I'm honestly shocked it's free. I liked the multiple endings that I could get, although I had trouble getting them without a guide. I got the ending Ash to Ash by myself, and that just made me need to see more! I liked all of the endings, but my favorite
is definitely the second happy ending called Together, We Are Eternal. Because Cassidy deserves to have some kind of revenge against that horrible brother of hers.
Great visual novel 💙💙 10/10

Absolutely lovely! Mentioned it to my friends saying "very wholesome (other than the cannibalism)" and I think it summarises the experience well lol The art is wonderful and the story is simple but well crafted. Definitely recommend!
