In Gravityball, we put ourselves in the boots of the gladiators of tomorrow, in a futuristic arena that hosts a very dangerous sport, blending Tron with Hockey in space. The lazy comparison here will be "Rocket League with Bikes". However, the game is definitely its own beast; with solid gameplay, approaching the easy to learn, hard to master mechanics that works! You will drive around your hover bike to catch the "ball" and shoot it into the rival's goal box. You are not only shooting the ball, but you are also shooting lasers as a way of defend yourself against the goal attempts of your rivals! The game offers local multiplayer up to 4 people and a very smart IA that allows you to have fun even when your friends are not around. For the price, it's a steal! Space Hockey is a badly made console ported Rocket League ripoff... you know, if you wanted to play Rocket League but with worse graphics, worse gameplay, and no players, well, this is exactly what you've been looking for. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It looks bad as a result of their decisions, and that's just another reason to avoid it. In a sheer insult to PC gamers, the developer has locked out keyboard and mouse controls on this game. Look, I like the idea of this game. I really do. And I almost like the execution of it. However, one thing I cannot get past is how absolutely horrible the teammate AI is. It seems like during every game, Penny is like a child, only chasing after the puck and not actually trying to win the game. I'll shoot the puck with a clear trajectory toward the goal, and she will interrupt its path as soon as she sees it. After this, she will hold the puck in the same place while charging a shot for 10 straight seconds, giving the opponent plenty of time to steal it. Overall, the teammate is more of an obstacle than an asset and I would honestly rather play against two players while solo over playing with an AI teammate. I shouldn't have to contemplate whether I should rip the puck from my own team member because they take forever to charge a shot, or how to optimally take possession of the puck without letting my teammate access it. I like singles though, that part of the game is fun. But being unable to do career mode without dealing with Penny is very annoying.

This game is in a good price range for what it is and definatly a new spin on the style of game(e-sports). At this time it won't be a huge player int he field but it is definatly well worth the value they have put on the product.
