Dropping out of hyperspace, you lay a course of Lagrange Station. Suddenly, the klaxon screams out a warning. Two Darts and a Corsair, closing fast. Pirates!
You roll hard to avoid the incoming plasma torps. One hits, knocking down your rear shield. Spinning to protect your stern, you launch a heat seeker. Direct hit: the Corsair burst into shards. Stunned, the Darts run for deep space.
Later, over a pint of Rigelian in the Lagrange cantina, you listen as a bounty hunter tells of the Scarlet Brotherhood, the most notorious band of pirates in the Far Arm. You hope it wasn't one of their Corsairs you vaporized out there...

One of my all time favorite games, it was ahead of its time, having a storyline, and upgrading your ships, it doesn't age entirely well, but is still a fun play. Although the drawback is that you are missing the fairly needed instructions and map that would have come with the game. but searching the internet I am hoping to find them. The original manual is on this forum which is awesome, but I seem to remember the map and a list of button commands for the game. still looking.7 found this helpful

I always thought these space exploration games were hella cool, waaaaay back in the day. Unfortunately, they're extremely dated now, and this one is no different. Luckily, for those who want to give it a shot, it runs very well. Without the nostalgia for these games, this will probably be a confusing experience.
Love these classics from my youth, this one takes some getting used to but it goes pretty hard
