The more you play it the more you hate it. At first it is fun, you "beat" the game and you have a fun time. Then you realize "hmm I didn't get the achievement for beating the game" & when you go back to beat it you notice every annoying bug (NO PUN INTENDED) you are SO slow when you need food, making webs grows tedious over time, and the worst part is if you close it you loose all your progress. So in conclusion, if you play for a bit you will enjoy but it can get lame if you play more than one game.2 found this helpful
The hunger mechanic literally makes this experience a pain to play.2 found this helpful
Spider man without the man. Sling webs, eat flies, and die.1 found this helpful
Way too hard to navigate, and then you get one-shot killed by the boss and have to start everything over. Very frustrating experience.1 found this helpful
While I love Sokpop and this game was made well, I couldn't fully beat it without looking up several things on google to teach me how to play it. For my first 20 ish minutes on the game I didn't know how to create a web, or how to connect them to get flies so I can continue on in an easy way. Truly, while the controls are hard, I think all this game needed was just a tad more tutorial in the beginning. I had no idea what I was doing until I googled the controls and watched a few YouTube videos, never mind the fact that you have to make a HUGE web to catch the boss at the end, which I don't think I would've guessed on my own. I enjoyed the game, and I did complete it, I just think there's some things that would've made it much easier to play, and for that reason I can't really recommend the game. That being said, it's a very cute concept! If this game were to have updates, I'm sure it could be made much better with a few tweaks! :)1 found this helpful
I generally like sokpop games but this one's not it. The controls are very wonky and imprecise, the game is laggy, there is no menue and esc directly closes the game. The ending of spider ponds is very confusing and if you don't intuitively get it right the first time, you have to start over from the begining.
