Surprisingly intense

This is a very unique game that deserves to be played. The mechanic of the game is very simple and easy to understand, altought it might seem boring, the random events and the ending add some special fun and creativity to the game that make it VERY enjoyable. I probably won't play it again, as I don't think this game is made to be played many times. But I do not regret trying it and I hope many more people play it.

Absolute cinema classic

Topzerah is a really silly little boss fight game, but I had a surprisingly good time with it. The idea is extremely straightforward because I run around, jump, shoot and take on a series of strange bosses. I liked that the game does not pretend to be more serious than it is. Everything has a colorful cartoon feeling that makes the fights easy to jump into. The boss battles are the main attraction, and each one is built around its own mechanics. I enjoyed having to learn what makes each boss different instead of simply using the same strategy every time. The movement is simple enough that I can focus on reading attacks and reacting to what is happening on screen. I also liked that the game mixes running and platforming with the shooting. I am not just standing in an arena and firing continuously. I have to jump over threats, move around the battlefield and find safe opportunities to attack. The simplicity works well because the fights remain easy to understand while still giving me something to think about. The boss creator is easily the most interesting extra feature.
