You wake up in your squalid apartment. Your phone screen is horribly cracked, and the alarm won't shut off. You're so tired... you aren't even sure which job you're supposed to go to today.
Everything is getting more expensive. Unaffordably expensive. Groceries. Bills. How much more can you take? How can this even be sustainable?
Do you have what it takes to handle the struggle? Can you figure out a way to make it to a better life? To get out of this rut, and finally get your head above water? Enter the world of the protagonist, and find out if you can withstand the seemingly relentless hardship life is throwing at you. Or will you fall by the wayside - another chewed-up casualty of our unforgiving system? You can't control your luck, but your choices are all up to you...

Oh boo hoo, this game isn't fun? Well LIFE isn't fun, bucko! Seriously, this is an intentionally punishing but well-written game that's all about the knife-edge of life under late-stage capitalism. Your only goal is to survive but the slightest setback can mean game over. It's pessimistic, it's cruel, and it's unfair, but it's also short and pointed. The point isn't to give you a rich, fulfilling adventure. The point is to piss you off about the state of the world. And it definitely succeeds in that. Maybe it feels overly sour but I can't fault where it's coming from.4 found this helpful
I like how the game displays reality for those who are down on their luck and the struggles one must endure to get through life. I would recommend this game simply because the price is right and I appreciate the replay-ability.2 found this helpful
good game, very depressing but a good commentary on the world today, and how easy it is for one bad day to slip into a bad life, like forgetting to lock your bike up when going to work, leads to our character losing their jobs and house because they cant get to work, and dying under a bridge, sad, but realistic1 found this helpful

I mean it's ok, it could use a more friendly UI for playing I'd say get it on sale not at full price
Good idea & atmosphere - I thought mechanically this would be similar to some old titles such as Heart Of China, but unfortunately the UI is too clunky & off putting pixel hunt that it prevented me from enjoying the game.
