About Square Farm
You have just become the proud new owner of a fertile square field. Can you master the skill of square farming and earn yourself a bountiful, quadrangular harvest?
What is square farming you ask? It's simple! Plant your weirdly shaped blocks of seeds somewhere in your big, square field. If you fill a row, column, or 3x3 square, the crop is harvested! Harvest multiple times at once, and your crops will be a better quality!
Farm your way through the year, and as you do, you'll unlock new crops, each with their own unique shape and values. Which four crops do you want to use today? The trickier the crop, the more money you'll earn! Aim for your best score!
Every once in a while, you'll be visited by a local from the nearby town of Squarewood!Befriend, date or marry one of the villagers, each with their own unique story. Who will you get to know first?
- Upgrade your farm with new buildings tools! A barn? A watering can? A mayonnaise maker?
- Squarewood Town is just around the corner. Hop on your bike and give the village a visit!
- Enjoy each villager's unique story and even go on romantic dates!
- Take a break from farming and go fishing for the day instead!
- Animals! Animals can be used to farm animal products instead of crops.
- Adopt a cat or dog to keep you company while you farm!
- Customize your farm with different fences and houses!
- Watch the season change as you progress through the year. Plant the right crop in the right season to earn bonuses.

This a cute farming game overall. I like that it combines block puzzles with farming. It's easy to learn, a little harder to master though. I recommend if you like having a mild challenge with your cozy gaming. It's worth the price.1 found this helpful
Quite a pleasant casual puzzle game. There's no farming directly - each crop type corresponds to a different pattern of tetromino-esque shape that then needs to be fit on the game board. Other farming elements, like cattle, slightly alter the game play or give assistance if you get stuck. There's also not much in terms of base building - structures just appear on your farm as you unlock them, but you have no control over their location, style, etc. There are villagers you can interact with and romance, but frankly they are currently quite shallow and unimpressive. It kind of feels like villagers were added to make the world less lonely and to mirror other popular farm sims. Overall, I think the game is worth the money as-is, however, I do think it can benefit from one or two more variations to the main puzzle type, and some sort of endless/all-in mode for a full casual experience.
Simple farming/fishing tetris farming game, a kinda simple interesting story line. A nice way to to just pass the time or use as distraction.
Such a cute, fun, and unique farming puzzle game. I like that it's a puzzle game but it has some story and other mechanics like upgrading your farm and romancing.
A fun game that has received continued updates since release
I kinda feel like I ripped off the devs for purchasing such an amazing game for only 5 bucks!
