Need I remind you that it's a PS1/Dreamcast remake, so don't expect precise movement or fast input The only issue is that you can't edit the controller mapping, meaning you either use the modern, which messes up the attacks and jumping becomes A/X or you stick to "classic" and end up misfiring skills or grenades while defending yourself Besides that, Maul is even harder than the PS1 (I've beaten PS1 100 skill all characters and even hidden ones), so you'll have to resort to fast attack spamming and perfect timing before his attacks begin 10/10 would be vaporized by Maul again2 found this helpful
It's not the most fun Star Wars game. In fact, the clucky controls and frustrating gameplay added with the almost non-existent story made it feel like a very rushed job. I played the single player campaign, but I would never even recommend this as a co-op attempt.1 found this helpful
STAR WARS™: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles™ is a remaster of the original PlayStation 1 game that was released back in early 2000. Now featuring modernized controls, the game is a bit less frustrating than it was back then thanks to its quality-of-life improvements. A great co-op game for two players. I was never able to get past Stage 4 back in the day, so it's time to see if my skills have improved!
Very good remastered game from PS1 game. Have many characters to play with their unique move sets. Fun challenge level design. Hope to see more remastered games in modern technology.
OG didn't have nearly as many bugs. Get on sale and call the orokin man
Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles is a fun old Star Wars game because it lets you jump into fast lightsaber action with a classic Episode I vibe. It’s simple, a bit chaotic, and full of that old-school charm that makes it memorable. It’s a great pick if you like retro Star Wars games and just want something fun to play.
