On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.
While mastering your abilities, players will engage in cinematically charged lightsaber and Force combat designed to deliver the kind of intense Star Wars lightsaber battles as seen in the films. Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.
Star Wars fans will recognize iconic locations, weapons, gear and enemies while also meeting a roster of fresh characters, locations, creatures, droids and adversaries new to Star Wars. fun game
pretty good
This game has 'Disney Star Wars' written all over it - overpriced and underproduced. Gameplay mechanics are clunky and annoying, lightsaber combat is barely worth mentioning, and the story and characters are forgettable. Compare this Bantha fodder to classic LucasArts titles like Jedi Academy and The Force Unleashed. Just play one of those instead, it will be cheaper and a whole lot more fun.
good
Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the best Star Wars games I've ever played. It tells an interesting, grounded story with high stakes for both the characters and the setting. The narrative kept me invested throughout, and I always felt like there was something to look forward to, whether it was a new gameplay upgrade or the next story beat. Exploration is rewarding without feeling mandatory. Venturing off the beaten path usually nets you lore, cosmetics, or the occasional Health and Force upgrade. The health and Force meter upgrades are hidden throughout the maps, but they're never so important, nor so frequent that you'll feel punished if you miss them. If you want to revisit planets later to collect everything, the game gives you that option. Gameplay feels like a blend of third-person action-adventure games such as Uncharted and God of War, with a light Metroidvania-style emphasis on revisiting earlier areas after unlocking new traversal abilities. Combat is responsive and satisfying, though a bit forgiving. I played on Jedi Master difficulty from start to finish, which felt roughly equivalent to a "Hard" mode. It punished reckless button mashing but rarely felt unfair. T…
