What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise this game's compelling story and engaging combat mechanics, making it a standout Star Wars title that holds up despite its age. However, the game suffers from significant technical issues including crashes, poor optimization for PC, low frame rates, and unbalanced difficulty that ranges from trivially easy to nearly impossible, with performance varying greatly depending on hardware.
This story is what should have been filmed instead of episodes 7-9. I'm not sure it's possible to pass on the hardest level but the easiest one is how a lightsaber works - one hit, one death. Despite all glitches and low fps, it's still interesting to play.
People say this game is a crashing mess but honestly I've only crashed about 2-3 times during my whole playtime on the game. I have a decent set up so probably why a lot of dudes with better rigs seem to be crashing is due to it being an old game and unoptimized for PC but idk I had no issues with the game , it has it's little moments but other than that it has a really good story and enjoyable combat mechanics. Wish to see more of Star Killer some day, 9/10 good work!
