It's fine if you really want more FTL to play, but there's really no reason to choose this over that unless you've already gotten everything that you possibly can out of it.

It's not good, I only payed 50p for this though so no point refunding. I love FTL and have played other FTL clones and most are better than this. Putting aside the confusing UI and the tutorial which doesn't really explain everything; the game is very glitchy to the point where you can jump to other systems and the glitch refusing to show anymore information will continue. FTL perfected the simple use of other weapons, this pointlessly made them annoying to bring to action. Skip this one guys, if you're looking for an FTL clones "Shortest Trip to earth" "Crying Suns" or even "Space Rogue" are much more enjoyable.

Pretty fun FTL like game, with extra features. Excited to see what they do with this game. Seems like they plan on updating it. Looking forward to unlocking all the ships

I cannot play this game. It feels like they just exactly copied FTL and then added some stuff, but it's just too similar for me to even want to entertain going further in the game. It looks as if it has a few more things than FTL, but it's an identi-clone. It is one thing to be inspired by other game designers and by other games, but quite another to exactly copy it. Make your own game. I am sorry that I cannot comment on the quality of the game, I don't know.

Review edited after months of no updates. The game seems to have joined the long list of abandonware on steam EA. Save your money. You liked FTL? Then you will like this one. Plus it has more ships, more game modes, better graphics, etc. I guess the mixed reviews are from an earlier version of the game? because i cant find any major fault in it. "But its an FTL clone!!!" FTL was a lot of fun, so why is having another game like it a "bad thing"?
