https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMQ-dJJoq4E Don't believe the haters, Downhill Cemetery is a solid horror game certainly worth its on sale price and more. People are really being unfair to these cheaper games and slapping them with unfair negative reviews. Zebaxx is a promising young game designer that deserves our respect and encouragement. ok i do have one nitpick and thats the jump scare sound is pretty loud and uncomfortable since its distortion but other than that this is pretty much the greatest thing ive ever played for free on steam. thanks for making it and gifting it to us! the opening segment was super creepy.
Somehow even worse than the first one!
After the “amazing” first episode, I immediately jumped into the second one… hoping for improvement. Sadly, it didn’t happen. Who moves to a new area, gets warned by their new best friend (the driver) that it’s dangerous, and then decides to watch a random horror movie at home right away? Come on. The story is just a collection of random actions and weird events that never really come together. The VHS tape near the end is even bugged, but honestly, you probably already wanted to quit before that anyway. The funniest part is probably the in-game TV, promoting the developer’s YouTube channel. After around 20 minutes, this horror journey was finally over — thankfully, because the 45–60 minute runtime mentioned by the developer sounded terrifying for a completely different reason. P.S.: I wanted to continue with Episode 3 (Greyville Stay)… but luckily the game didn’t even start. A true horror experience — the universe saved me! 😂💀

Short game with a weak plot, and I had to reload the third chapter over because of the VHS tape glitch.

Didn't wanted to buy it because of the negative reviews about the VHC bug, but it worked fine for me. I enjoyed this horror game.
