Story
A lone girl stands abandoned on a broken star.
With the star deprived of its power, she can neither use it to escape nor inform others of her plight.
However, there exists a point on this star that intersects with another world.
The player, by standing on this convergence point and wearing the Otherworld-Viewing Device (VR unit), can enter the parallel world and communicate with the girl.
Together, they cooperate to solve the puzzle of restoring the star's power so she may be able to leave.

Game Concept
Although sight is highly intuitive in VR, the same cannot be said for most other aspects, leading to irritation from clumsy controls.
We designed this game around directing a character through glances to circumvent this and change that annoyance into a game element.

Only the head-mounted display is needed to play.

[h1] Experienced on the Oculus Rift [/h1] [i] Note: Received this game free as part of the Steam Curator Connect program. I wish I hadn't accepted this game to review though and you can read why below.[/i] So there's going to be this one review that is going to mention how they played this game with no hands that will get lots of likes or funny upvotes. That's all this game really has to offer. I'm not even sure this qualifies as a puzzle game or as a seated game. This is a pixel hunting game (HOG) and it has this little girl-elf looking alien. I know it's a game and it's normal anime stuff from Japan, but whatever it is, she looks like she's 10 and she has a big rack. One of the first things she does is ask you to look down to calibrate where you're staring right at her cleavage. So that's the game really. The pixel hunting is very obnoxious. I didn't finish the game, I decided to quit. I wasn't having fun and I was tired of looking for tiny pixels. Although, I saw everything there was to see as there is only 2 small locations. You can't even get to some of the hidden objects seated. I had to stand up and look around to reach some of them and even though I found some of them, …7 found this helpful

Игра 'Tale of the Fragmented Star: Single Fragment Version' - это захватывающее начало эпической истории, несмотря на то, что это всего лишь "одна часть". Визуальный стиль, сочетающий в себе пиксель-арт и атмосферные портреты персонажей, создает уникальную и завораживающую атмосферу. Сюжет, хоть и представлен фрагментарно, уже успевает заинтриговать загадками мира, тайнами фрагментов звезды и взаимодействием главных героев. Ощущается, что заложен фундамент для многослойной и глубокой истории. Боевая система, основанная на пошаговых сражениях, проста в освоении, но предлагает достаточно тактических возможностей для разнообразия. У каждого персонажа свои уникальные навыки, что делает формирование команды важным аспектом. Особенно хочется отметить музыкальное сопровождение. Мелодии прекрасно передают настроение происходящего и добавляют эмоциональной глубины каждой сцене. Несмотря на то, что это лишь небольшая часть целой истории, она оставляет после себя сильное желание увидеть продолжение и узнать, что же ждет героев в будущем. Это отличный пример того, как можно заинтересовать игрока, даже предоставив лишь часть пазла. С нетерпением жду полной версии!
