Tales of Spark: Probation

Gameplay is fluid and nice to be a pre beta is very good i belive this game have potentials

At this stage I ca,'t recommend this game. There is potential and I like the old-school feeling bringing me back to the old Asian MMORPG, but the quality isn't even matching the good old ones yet. To start with the game should detect the language on start, that's just silly. The mini map reveals with a radius lower than what you can see on screen and doesn't make any distinction between the limit of a place you can walk to and the border of what you've discovered. Then quests tell you to go here or there but there isn't any map where you can find the direction of that unless you're close enough that you almost don't need a map. Many other areas could get a bit of extra work to make this a great game and I hope they do, but for now, nope.

"Tales of Spark: Probation" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Tales of Spark". Tales of Spark is an abandoned Early Access Diablo ripoff, a basic Chinese top down/iso view ARPG where you mash icons that look like they were asset flipped from World of Warcraft to beat up asset flip looking baddies... it was a huge flop on Steam Direct so the developers abandoned it 20 months ago. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Tales of Spark, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Tales of Spark: Probation" too. The intro is kind of lacklustre (consisting of walls of text and a dull linear snow level) but once you get past that and onto the desert area the game really opens up and feels more engaging. Despite it saying in the description controllers are not compatible, I found mine worked OK, but there are some problems with attacking direction and interacting with items such as chests. I feel like it would be a real plus for this game if it become fully controller compatible and would reach a bigger audience. The story is amusing and in-depth, the dungeons are fun and challenging and If you like older style action RPG's I think you're going to have some fun this one!

i think there are too much cutsccenes and it takes alot of time to skip them , esspcially in thebegining, i am sucker for good lore, but i think they are too much that being said a wu-shea inspired arpg is highly intersting and original i wish there be more diffrante classes.. is it that spiritual succsesoor to blade and sword?

Its a good game but it need more work. work more on the hitboxs!
