While rebuilding your family business, can you uncover the truth?🌟Main Gameplay🌟As the restaurant owner, your most important task is to determine the management strategy for your restaurant. You’ll choose the monthly menu, set the price for each dish, decide whether to renovate or expand the shop, and determine whether to provide top-notch service to customers or cut costs to increase revenue. Do you spend a lot on staff training or set a meager 2,000 monthly salary with 90-hour work weeks? These decisions… are all in your hands!Of course, the most important thing is to survive. If your cash flow is negative for two months in a row—welcome to the bankruptcy bad ending :)

Get to know their past stories and grow closer to them through sweet moments.Maybe someone would say, no sweet moments, I only want to work and study! In Taste of the Wind, you can also learn the exclusive knowledge of your employees. Want to know what table turnover rate means? Have you noticed the little tricks on the menu that grab attention? Which knife should you use first when chopping vegetables? Why do you add salt last when stir-frying veggies? How can you tell if an egg is still usable? Plus, there's Karate, fortune-telling with Bazi, and Purple Star astrology... If you're interested in these, chat with the employees and learn more! Knowledge isn't just numbers; it's practical tips, and one of the branches leading to different endings!

🌟Many CGs and endings?🌟

In Taste of the Wind, while you have the goal of paying off the one million loan in five years, your choices will lead to different endings. Will you be the boss who pushes employees but makes a fortune, or will you choose to be more ethical? Will you opt for a chain store strategy and expand aggressively, opening a large restaurant, or go for a Michelin-starred restaurant? Or perhaps... even though the restaurant is your main business, you’re more into investing, fishing, and games of chance? All these choices will lead to your own unique ending.

[後半に日本語レビューあり]
Rebuilding a Chinese Diner and Paying Off Debt with a Childhood Friend
A warmhearted management RPG about a protagonist who once helped at his parents' restaurant as a child. After their deaths and the decline of the family business, he drifts through a string of jobs until his childhood friend suddenly reappears. Together, they take on a debt of one million and set out to rebuild his family's Chinese diner. The gameplay loop follows the rhythm of a full working day, from preparation before opening through late-night service and cleanup after closing. Everything related to management is left to the player, including menu planning, setting prices from dirt-cheap to premium, renovating and expanding the interior, and deciding how employees are treated - whether to invest in thorough training or work them hard for low pay. Snappy minigames cover cooking, cleaning, checking bills, and dealing with unreasonable complaints, while gradually collecting new recipes creates an addictive sense of progression. If the restaurant runs a deficit for two consecutive months, it immediately goes bankrupt, giving even seemingly minor daily decisions real weight. Another appe…

Honestly the premise really got me hooked. I love the idea of a restaurant management game while building relations with other characters. The art though not the best is very charming to me like a picture book which fits well with the visual novel aspect of it. Its just theres a lot of clunkiness I experienced while playing the game. some of it could be a skill issue but there was a lot of small factors that kinda added up to being too much for me. The translation: I get that this game is Chinese first but I can't read Chinese and there was an option for English so I feel like its fair to say this. Half the time reading explanations, Tips, Tutorials or descriptions felt really confusing. Like There wasn't enough proper explanation of how a mechanic worked So I just went into the game blindly or I'd just take a double take and question the wording. This actually makes me crash out when I go into other restaurants to scout and they make me try to explain my way out but the excuses provided make absolutely no sense to me and I just get rushed into doing a 50/50. I'd also sometimes just get hit with straight Chinese dialogue in cutscenes and have no idea what's going on even though I …

I didn’t expect to love this game this much! This game just feels so warm and full of heart. I really love how every character has their own personality and their own story. They don’t feel like characters who are just there for the sake of the plot, they all feel like they have their own lives. I also really love how free the gameplay is. There are so many things you can do and so many ways to interact with the characters, which makes the whole experience feel very personal. It genuinely feels like I’m making my own story instead of just following one. The world and the characters have so much warmth to them, and I found myself getting attached without even realizing it. Honestly, finishing the game made me a little sad because I didn’t want to leave this little world yet. Thank you for making such a lovely and heartfelt game. I really enjoyed every bit of it.

I agree with Agnol about most of the things they have mentioned. The only thing I don't agree with is that line about saving. There is a save feature, and I'm pretty sure it was available from the start since I bought this game right on the first day when it released. I think the art is very cute and suits the overall experience, although gameplay is very frustrating and unforgiving. Management mode is honestly impossible to play in. I spent five hours in which I lost count how many times I have drowned in debt in just the first year. After those five hours I simply gave up and decided to choose easier mode, which still is very demanding, but at least you earn a little bit more so I guess it's possible to reach an ending. The gameplay was too repetitive however, so I decided to put playing this game on pause. Or maybe drop, I haven't decided yet. Characters are very flat too. It's difficult to remember them or discern, since they're very one dimensional. One girl is a fortune teller, the other likes fighting, the guy has family issues and our best friend is good at managing and has a narrow emotional range. As was mentioned in a different review, there are many untranslated …
