Fun for how simple it is but theres just not enough variety in it for me. Theres only 3 real turrets in the game and you get them all from the get go. You just kinda mush them all together in clusters around a power source in the same set locations every time, because the soul plants are there. The upgrades are also kind of limited and you have a choice between three but you kinda feel like you see the same three choices all the time ...and theyre also kinda bland. X more dmg, X more range etc. The part I like is having tools that arent strictly damage dealers, things like a trampoline or a speed boost should make their way into more tower defense games with a controllable character. If youre not bothered by the games simplicity you might enjoy it, the idea is pretty fun, simply gets too repetitive for me personally.5 found this helpful
An interesting take on the tower defence genre ! There are lots of things to do when the wave is going on. Definitely a challenge ! Would recommend if you like tower defence and want something where you have more agency during the action phase :)2 found this helpful
Lovely tower defense with a lot of potential stifled by it being a strategic game with a massive lack of variety in attacking turrets. Everything that doesn't do damage feels like a quirk, and some maps have specific turret combinations you need, so you either load into a game with a suboptimal power source and need to restart to take one of the others, or the dealing of turret cards simply didnt give you what you need, and even if you reroll it you dont have the currency to place turrets afterwards. I would suggest separating the rerolling currency into something else entirely (as it uses the same currency needed to place turrets). Another thing I would do away with entirely is the attack speed buffs / turret modifying cards, and put things like that into upgrades, where you revisit the turret during planning and upgrade it into more damage less attack speed, less damage more attack speed, etc. All this being said, there is an entertaining, fluid, exciting turret defense game hiding under some major polishing flaws - mechanically speaking. Really fun game with a lot of cool mechanics and top tier production value. The main issue, like so many other indie games is the difficulty. It gets way too hard too quickly. I had a great time in the first 3 levels, but thats as far as I can get. Devs need to make easy modes for people who are not looking for a hardcore challenge. Regardless, I would still recommend the game since its so unique in the TD space.1 found this helpful
you are unable to khange the kontrols , as someone who has kertain keys not working rn this is a huge issue and sadly makes the tutorial unbeatable due to not being able to demolish i gotta say this somewhere
