About The Ball Encounter
The ball encounter is a FPS tower defence game, which is different from traditional FPS game within gun, and replaced with staff and sword. It does not need too much strategies to do the defence like normal tower defence game, as a capable defencer need to keep the mind and fingers stay sharp.
The scene and play mode design have been optimized as simple as possible, in order to improve the experience of immersion.
Unprecedented tension and pressure: the enermy balls will spawn from all directions, so we must to be observant and alert.
The strategy of skills: in this game, we can use 2 weapon modes and 6 powerful skills to engage with the enermy balls.
Interaction with scene: there are 3 different types defence towers that can assist us to attack the enermy balls, also we can use a specific skill to reinforce the tower.
Fine graphics: good connection between realistic rendering and magic style design, meantime fantasic VFX brings cinematic enjoyment.

"The Ball Encounter" is a weird kind of tech demo... it's an FPS tower defense, a bit like if you took Sanctum 2 and removed most of the gameplay and themes. You're a wizard (yes, you are) and you help a tower defend itself against mankinds greatest enemy, balls. Yeah, me neither. What do you do in the game? Shoot the balls with a variety of weapons because the tower is bad at being a tower and should feel bad. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the ga…2 found this helpful

Would be an awesome game if there was co-op. No window mode or select video settings. Feels like an early access. Only enjoyable for couple minutes then gets old. But I give it props for being able to play on Linux through Steam Play.1 found this helpful

This game is a MASTERPIECE! using the powers strategically and trying to kill the balls is a fun and exiting experience. i killed the first boss and was overjoyed. the graphics are amazing and the sound quality is great. this game is the best game on steam. 5 stars.
