The Chronos Principle

The Chronos Principle is an innovative hidden gem. The levels are thought-provoking but aren't overly complicated until the final ones. The interface and presentation are slick, and the game introduces new obstacles every ten levels. There's no undo button because that wouldn't work, so be prepared for many restarts. You can play with a keyboard or mouse, but the keyboard is more responsive as the mouse doesn't always register my movements. Total playtime is around three hours, and worth picking up if you love puzzle games.

Amazing little puzzle game that I would define as "Short but Sweet". The idea behind the game is great, and the puzzles are all pretty interesting. I was maybe hoping for some more mechanics, like ghost-only exits, or spikes that don't target ghosts and whatever. But level 76 is kind of the culmination of how to deal with time; and even if it's a bit annoying to pull off I thought it was an amazing level. 22 also stumped me for a while, but a nice feature is that you can play any level, so I came back to it later. I think anyone who likes minimalistic puzzles should try this one, even out of sale, but keep in mind it is rather short.

Impressively clever little thing. The core idea of parallel, but interacting timelines is not actually unique, but its execution in the minimalist environment was really, really sweet. The Chronos Principle is one of the best abstract/minimalist puzzles out there, I'm hoping to see more games like this someday.

Fun, short game. They puzzles aren't that challenging (not a breeze either), but the exploration of the idea is interesting. I do wish you had a fast forward button though, because say you spend time thinking in-between steps, well you have to sit there for that entire time until the box moves, which does get annoying. Not so much that it's a quit moment, just you know it does detract a bit from the experience. As far as accessibility goes I don't have good short-term memory or visualization ability but was able to complete all levels without too much difficulty (a few gave me a bit) by simply taking a good look at it.

Just beat it in 1 sitting; fantastic game. I loved every second of it.
