About The Journey East and West
You are a claim jumper, you must make your way back to Missouri for another chance to receive a claim in Oregon. This game was made for my NMU CS120 Winter 2025 semester final project. It is a text-based game similar to games like The Oregon Trail, where you use number inputs in order to make decisions that control the game played through the console. You will have to deal with random events with success based off of random chance and manage resources because there has to be some fail state or the game would be boring.Open JDK no longer needs to be installed and added to your systems PATH. Do not be alarmed when a Command Prompt window opens, that is the game.

this might possibly be the greatest piece of media ever. everything about this game was so magical. the character development, the story, the soundtrack, everything. the visuals are stunning, the voice acting is superb, and you can tell the dev truly cared for his craft. and craft he did. ts was genuinely life changing.3 found this helpful
I've only played this game for 6 minutes, but now I will never be able to play any other games ever again without comparing them to this masterpiece. The game is so good that it actually retroactively makes all other games ever made and ever to be made worse in comparison to its grandeur. I feel sorrow for anyone on the Apple series of computing devices because they will not be able to experience this absolutely perfect audiovisual interactive media. This is one of the best games i have ever played. It is incredibly in depth and i can tell the developer cares about his gamers. I would highly recommend!
This game is a waste of time. Your oxen die, your friends and family die and its all your fault. The map is wrong. Youre better off just booking a flight.
This is the greatest game I have ever played. Everyone should play this game because it changed my life for the better
