The Last Oricru - Final Cut

Underrated gem (or hidden even). This is Detroit become human the soulslike. The game is deep as hell and will makes you regret every of your decisions. I started once, drop it at 3rd location to start a new path, I regret it mid game. It has great story and it hit hard. Replayability on the roof. Now let's address the elephant in the room, protagonist voice. The writing is full of humor imho and men the protagonist looks and sounds like Adam Saddler. Yes it makes no sense, but think of a guy that came back to life and being informed that he is an immortal, so he unleash his real self and doesn't care what to say and how to say. Three more things FYI: 1) In games specs they say 4 to 8 GB of VRAM. In linux, the game never get lower than 5.8GB (RX580) and went as high as 10. I don't know if this a think for windows too but note this, the game wouldn't even pass the loading screen with 4GB. 2) There is a point in the game that you can soft lock yourself with a poor build. 3) There are some funky awkward dialog bugs, e.g. (no spoiler) I went to a location and had to talk to Marco (a starting character) but I didn't, After I finished my main quest and had a chat with Marco in town …

Minor Spoilers for game ahead. Honestly the game is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Obviously it has some issues and isn't the best quality game I've ever played, but when I look at this as a first project from a AA team? I see a game where they had a vision and just went for it, and while it didn't turn out the best I still had a good time with it. The main character, Silver, is a baffling protagonist in the fact he doesn't care at all at first. (Which why should he? He got thrown into a planetary conflict hours after waking up!) But as you play, your choices do slowly start pulling pieces together. There are a lot of gaps due to the open nature of the story, some which I believe are only truly filled by multiple playthroughs. Obviously, that expectation is hard to bend to when the story itself can be a little painful or confusing. All in all, the gameplay was a bit jank but worked well enough, the story was bizarre but kept drawing me in with *how* bizarre it was, and I had a good time streaming it to friends. didn't get to crack alien fine ♥♥♥♥ but highkey fire game accept for slight racist undertones. 7.5/10 update: finally cracked on second playthrough and was worth every second. game somehow even better that the first playthrough. lowkey slimed them all. 8.5/10

another useless console game that is a very poor 'port'.. controls are useless.. <tab> is not shown on the remap settings page.. and it has a 'checkpoint saves'.. that arent really a save.. after a reload various things you did are not done.. like collecting certain items! but it does save things like 'changing your stats'.. then their pathetic attempt at explaining why you cant die, implies that only YOU cant die..by this 'technological belt' you wear.. even the locals complain about how they will die and you have to do 'it' because you cant die.. however when you do inevitably die, everything is 'reset' and everything you killed is alive and kicking too! these devs are completely brain dead morons! then there is the combat which is atrocious, you're facing the enemy and try to strike but somehow miss and end up behind them while they are swinging at your back! then you try to put up the shield and you have to be exactly facing the right way in order to block something.. be slightly off and the attack gets thru.. their whole attempt at dropping you into a 'world' where you wake up and arent told anything, other than to 'train' and then arent given much in the way of explanat…

Fun co-op game that actually allows you to make meaningful choices. It has its flaws and is certainly not the most polished game out there, but it was clearly built with love and has some genuinely great moments.
