Determine the fate of two waring races
Dig into the forgotten past of the world. Uncover the conspiracy behind the events that take place as you play. Let sides of the conflict make you understand their motives for fighting or disregard everything and everyone and just make the world burn. The story of the Last Oricru is complex and it may take multiple different play-throughs to make all pieces of the puzzle finally click together.

Massive decision tree in which your decisions lead to different outcomes, affecting story, characters, game endings but also visuals of levels or even the gameplay flow. Every action, sub-quest or life taken can affect your reputation with each faction. There are multiple ways to play through The Last Oricru and no right or wrong decision. Your decisions will shape the fate of the world, literally.

The combat is easy to learn but hard to master and aims to create a tough but rewarding experience. Melee and ranged weapons with unique attack animations and secondary abilities, shields, techno-magical items, weight management and upgrade system offer a wide range of customization for your play-style. You will encounter various mass fights, in which you can prove your loyalty by aiding your comrades in arms but also fight your way through unsuspecting and surprised enemies, as you travel through a number of distinct areas of the war-torn world. Be prepared to die... A lot!

Invite your friends over or tell your significant other to join you in your adventures! The Last Oricru is designed to make co-op a unique experience, so for example you can find new fun ways to defeat bosses or reach special secret areas. The Classic RPG character stat system also enables each of you to specialize your character differently, so you can reap the benefits of role diversity: become beefy melee tank and protect your archer friend or become a duo of mages and use one of co-op only spells to wreak havoc among enemies. You may also want to be a pair of swordsmen, hacking your way through enemies should-by-shoulder. It's entirely up to you and your partner-in-game.

The game - a masterpiece. A gem hidden amongst the rough. First - the bad: The combat is nothing memorable. No ground was broken with the combat design. But it feels familiar if you've played this type of game and you get into the rhythm of it quickly enough. In co op it seems the second player is unable to access captain logs and that does deny them some ability to follow the story. Even having it played audibly when the first player initiates it would have been welcome. Now onto the good: The story is good. Its no masterpiece by any measurement, but its good enough to catch your interest and keep you wanting to see what happens next. Your choices do matter in a meaningful way and that gives the game some replayability if you're so inclined or at least some interest in watching Youtube videos of the other paths if you're not. The dialogue is delicious. Silver is artfully written and masterfully voice acted. He has a very fun and dry sense of humor and lacks the capacity to read the room or is otherwise inappropriately sarcastic at the most solemn of moments..he is called out by this at times by other characters, but can't help himself. It adds a lot of humor and…2 found this helpful
I don't think I've laughed this much at a videogame in ages. This work of art is a complete mess. The main character is so grating and dumbfounded that he wraps around to being hilarious. The tone is everywhere, with the game attempting to handle intricate fantasy r*cism and sl*very with the grace of a wrecking ball. The combat is laughably bad and my co-player has no walking animation, resulting in her character just gliding around inbetween attacks. With all that being said, this game has been a great experience for the four hours we played. We streamed it to a friend and were all howling. Another reviewer likened it to the famous so-bad-it's-good movie The Room, and I think that is a good comparison. RESPECT THE RATVOLUTION!1 found this helpful
It was my first soul like game. I liked the story overall, that my choices really impacted the story, the leveling system and items were okish, and i really liked it was split screen. I played 3 routes. For me it's a yes1 found this helpful
worst game ive played to completion, a blast in coop
Stay away
The Last Oricru is a solid, competent title that pays tribute to adventure RPG classics from my younger gaming days, such as the original Xbox classics: Jade Empire, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Fable. Oricru has an incredibly unique feel to its combat and mechanics, which demands that the player learn and experiment with its RPG systems in order to find a setup tailored to their playing style. The story is deeply engaging and kept me invested until its last breath. With multiple paths to potentially follow, Oricru builds the story around the player through the choices they make, which have dramatic consequences for the outcome of the journey. Unlike most apparent multiple-choice experiences that are often shoehorned in, making very little difference to the world around you, in Oricru your choices truly do matter. Because of its classic style and gameplay mechanics, The Last Oricru will not appeal to the masses, but those who give it time and effort will have a unique and pleasantly interesting experience. 7.5/10
