The vibe seems great and there's definitely potential but "Chapter 1" is less then you get in most demos. There's no sense of the story or the game play loop. You can finish it in about an hour and have barely done anything in that time. You don't "investigate" anything, you have a few conversations that lead nowhere, can find a few "fights" and go back to bed. The game has good potential but the decision to release whatever this was meant to be seems misguided. I'll keep an eye on development but I'll wait a long time before jumping back in.7 found this helpful
Just like the protagonist, the game misses too many of its punches. The potential is there, but is not (yet) fully utilised. So far, only one of the promised six episodes has been released. The goal of releasing a new episode every 4 months (according to the developer in the Steam forum) has already failed.6 found this helpful
Played many objectively bad games in my life. I can forgive the lips no syncing with the voices, that characters just passing through objects like nothing and the confusing camera. My tolerance meter ended when I met a randome mugger that was my first fight in the game. The guy just stun-locked me while also bleeding and poisoning me. Meanwhile every time i was lucky enough to get a turn all my attacks missed. Do not reccomend, maybe chack it in ten years when all chapters are out and more people have play test it6 found this helpful
The game has a really intriguing dark storyline, but it’s very short in its current state. I hope it gets the support it needs to be fully completed and polished, because the potential is definitely there. Right now, though, it still needs a lot of refinement and more content. If you’re expecting a complete experience, you might end up disappointed, so buy with caution. But if you’re interested in supporting the project in hopes of seeing it grow, it’s worth considering. Honestly, I wish Steam had a middle-ground option instead of just thumbs up or down, because that would fit this game perfectly.
i had high hope for this game but the combat is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, not fun and just badly balanced, totally put me off shame it could have been good if not for that.
Nice visual style and can't say much about the rest because I lost my patience with this unpolished mess. "Point & Click Adventure", well, what that means is just that you move around by clicking on the ground and they managed to make even such a simple concept cumbersome and annoying with wildly changing camera angles and directions. The areas so far were large and difficult to navigate without anything much in it. I guess you can find money in trash cans here and there? Then the first battle happened and no joke, it took like 65 rounds to defeat the two goons from what is basically the combat tutorial. I don't want to grow old before I finish this game, thanks. After that, I was supposed to go to some pub and I kid you not, I could not find my way there despite a map which is, of course, also as irritating to use as it gets. Maybe the story is good, but I will not find out.
