Interesting story, and I like the art style. Characters are okay, although not really out of the ordinary. Gameplay is also okay for the most part. Even the visual novel style dialogue doesn't bother me as much as it usually does. However, there are some severe missteps that drag the game down (for me at least). One is the part where you sneak into the police station. Not because it's bad per se, but because of how inconsistently events play out (for instance, [spoiler]switching on the TV will have the officer bust you instantly, except at that one point where you need it to distract him so that you can find the film reel[/spoiler], or [spoiler]luring the officer into the Sheriff's room and locking him in only works at the point where you need to develop the photos, even though you already have everything needed long before that[/spoiler]). That's just bad design. And the finale was terrible. I'm so tired of a hero/ine rushing into the final confrontation with no plan and no backup whatsoever. The conclusions with their unskippable slow-as-molasses typewriter animations didn't help either. Also not a fan of the sequel bait at the end. Or the save system that doesn't allow manual …

Very well told story on top of mostly grounded character design.

打了一个小时，还是申请退款了。 解谜推理有些地方实在是牵强。 我以为的逻辑“因为报童早上送了报纸-报纸被用来包装书皮-说明受害人还活着-报童嫌疑很小-在八百里外的嫌疑人手里有这本书上的便条-受害人自主离开-报童几乎可以排除” 结果本游戏的逻辑是：“如果打破车窗-手破了引人注目-所以报童不会打破车窗-报童没有嫌疑” 也行吧。

This was a great little crime puzzle game, i really enjoyed it. the puzzles were hard but not overly so and the story was really well written, i hope we get a sequel!

Amazing game if you like investigation or puzzle games. A few iffy English translations but nothing that makes it too hard to read but other than that it is fantastic. Beautiful artwork, beautiful story that is well written and thought out, and some great puzzles that really get you thinking. Speaking of the puzzles, I will point out one flaw...there is one puzzle involving a piano that assumes you have some ability to read a music sheet. I have no such ability, and there is no hint of how to read one in the game. I feel a lot of people will be in the same boat I was in and confused as to how you're supposed to figure it out without irl experience in reading music. Didn't love that as I feel puzzles should have a way to solve them in game. That's really my only complaint, play the game!

Solid package. Some puzzles are a bit overly obtuse primarily due to weird word choices in the localisation.
