Beast Crimes is a point-and-click game with noir elements. It's clear the author put a lot of effort into the design, but he failed miserably in other aspects, such as flat and boring dialogue. In this case, I can't recommend buying it.2 found this helpful

I wouldn’t exactly say I recommend this game, but at the same time, I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend it either. The only reason I lean toward recommending it is because it’s clear the developer put a lot of effort into this project. The cases are enjoyable, though the stories tend to be on the shorter side. The gameplay offers variety, with a mix of puzzles and cross-examinations, but a few puzzles can be a bit frustrating. The characters are a mixed bag too—some are likable, some fall flat (*cough Sasha cough*). While the art doesn’t have the polish of professional work, it has its own unique feeling. The red-and-black-themed scenes are well made, with standout moments like the muzzle of [spoiler]Seth or Hyeon[/spoiler], which are surprisingly detailed and well-executed. Overall, this game isn’t perfect, but it’s filled with ambition. I don’t regret buying it, but I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to recommend it to others.1 found this helpful
