The Mine

This is not a game. It is yet another demo, designed by students, masquerading as a horror Walking Sim to get you to download it. I do not understand why Steam continues to allow such slop on it's platform. In this one you are in a small mine with nothing but a lighter in your hand. There is a locked door a little ways ahead of you, and on each side you will find a small passageway. Your goal is to find a key, which wil open the locked door, while avoiding the "[i]monsters[/i]". The monsters are a giant eye, which will kill you by touching you for a minute. It is followed around by several little eyes which look like paper cut-outs. There is one achievement for playing the game, but I escaped the mine in 6 minutes and the achievement did not pop. I played another 3 times, escaping the mine each time, and the achievement still did not pop, so I went searching for answers. The students that made this piece of crap demo apparently suck so bad that the one and only achievement they put in here does not even work properly for everybody. Игра "The Mine" - это напряженный и атмосферный хоррор, заставляющий игрока с замиранием сердца исследовать мрачные глубины заброшенной шахты. Простота механики компенсируется гнетущей атмосферой и постоянным ощущением, что за тобой кто-то следит. Скримеры, хоть и присутствуют, эффективно вплетены в повествование и не кажутся дешевыми. Графическое исполнение, хоть и не поражает технологическими изысками, идеально соответствует сеттингу и создает ощущение изоляции. Звуковое сопровождение выше всяких похвал: каждый скрип, каждый шорох заставляют тебя вздрагивать и оглядываться. Сюжет, поначалу кажущийся незамысловатым, постепенно раскрывается, предлагая игроку разгадать тайну шахты и ее обитателей. Игра короткая, но насыщенная, и после прохождения остается чувство хорошо рассказанной и пугающей истории. Рекомендую всем любителям атмосферных хорроров, которые ценят не только скримеры, но и качественное повествование.

The game is horrible, you can't see anything, the lighter doesn't give much light and if you take the stick and light it it doesn't last long and you have to look for another one. I didn't find this key to get out of the mine, I also saw videos but I didn't find the key. Why?

A total waste of time. Poor lighting, crap graphics, and just running aimlessly around tunnels while getting killed by floating pictures of eyes. Complete garbage. Rating: 1/10
