About The Mine

You are playing as a former miner, who worked in one of the mines of the Ural Mountains in the Soviet Union. One day, a series of powerful aftershocks interrupted your work, and soon an arrival of emergency State Commission was announced. Everyone were asked to finish their job and rise to the surface. The next day, at the mine entrance, military forced you to sign non-disclosure documents. Five years after these events, at a time when the Soviet Union is collapsing, and the mine is completely unguarded, you decide to find out what really happened in the mine and reveal its secrets.

You will find a fascinating and frightening adventure through the old mine, where you have to hide from enemies in order to survive. Approximate duration of gameplay for about 3 hours on 5 unique maps

The game uses my own game engine. The game took me four years to make, every part of the game and the engine were written from scratch.

Hi, This is a very good and very scary game! It is quite basic by today's standards of graphics and also gameplay, but it has a very special feel to it indeed which I find very appealling. The movement is very clunky however and many of the animations are poor. I would hope in the future the creators would improve the animations and movement feel, both in the player and the monsters. It can be very intense at times and the monsters run after you very, very fast! I like the stealth element too both sound and visibility are relevant to whether or not you stay undetected. Monsters are quite smart and seem to vary their patrol routes which is very good. It is very hard though when you get stuck it can be frustrating trying to find out how to move on from a part of the game. Overall I think this game has a fantastic charm, a lot of character and the only thing I would want the creators to change are the animations and movement feel. Thanks!

I bought this to support the developer, anyone who creates thier own engine deserves my money. The game itself is pretty good, a basic horror/ hide and seek/ collect items game. The graphics are pretty basic but do the job. The ambient sound and music is top notch though. The only issue I had so far was the vsync in-game did not seem to work, however looking through the game files I found the .cfg file and enabled it there, and it worked. I will be keeping on eye on future projects this developer creates. Recommended!

I really enjoyed this little game until I encountered game breaking save file glitches that made me uninstall. I got to a certain point near the end and the game crashed and when I rebooted it non of my save files or even auto-save worked, clicking on them would crash the game again. I started a new game and had the same issue. It seems that other people have similar experiences when reading the forums. Too bad.... it was quite good (except the enemy AI is hilariously bad) and had it's own thing going on but once again with indie games the stupid glitches ruin the experience.
